Dear Lord,
Many thanks for all the ways you've helped me + my loved ones. I ask again for special intervention in A + M's spiritual lives, + also so that when we talk, what is said by one is what is perceived by the other, so there are no miscommunications.
A wants to set a boundary in our communications: she does not want to talk about religion or her beliefs/choices re: things like medical treatments and other people's choice of lifestyle or abortion.
She perceives that when I listen to her, I am listening with an ear towards how I'll respond, rather than trying to understand. She perceives that on these particular topics, I do not let her opinions "just be," but counter them with my own beliefs repeatedly. I don't want her to get exasperated with me + decide not to share things with me bc of the way she perceives my reactions, so I ask that you heal our communication. In many ways we have a good relationship, but she does hold back telling me certain things bc of the way I react. If I'm wrong, show me where + how to change my communication methods with her.
Several weeks ago when we had an intense conversation, I tried to define exactly what she believed by asking her if she still believed in God + that Jesus is our Savior. She tho't I was acting out of fear, disappointment, anger, + judgment. Of course I am concerned for her eternal security, but did not want or intend to convey any of these emotions.
Certainly, I was surprised by her disclosure bc I tho't she still believed in you. I knew something was different enough to bother my spirit, but not what it was. That's why I wanted to know once + for all where she was coming from spiritually.
So, I'm not even sure what she believes, apart from there being "something" to account for the diversity + complexity of creation. I regret that she does not feel she can tell me what she truly believes, bc that is one avenue of communication that should not be closed off. However, I can ask you, + since you can do anything, you can open this channel + not only allow communication to flow freely again, but you can ensure that each of us perceives the other's intent behind. her words accurately. May our communication be healed.
I am grateful that she still tells me she loves me + wants to work on our communication. It would be far worse if she did not. I regret that I cannot speak to her about religion, at least for the present time. She + M do not realize their eternity is at stake, so I ask that you reveal it to them. If I cannot talk to her about you, then someone else will have to, so I ask that you send them some kingdom connections who will be able to talk to them about their faith in a way that will intrigue them + be appealing to them so they'll want to hear more. As they hear more, may they begin to hunger + thirst for righteousness, + realize that it's true: if they seek you they will find you if they seek you with their whole hearts.
They have Pastor B + another church member; I think M, who live very close to them. Move them into each other's inner circle so they become good friends + a discussion about you flows naturally + is welcome. Send other powerful Christians into their lives. Hinder the enemy from making any headway in his nefarious game to sift them as wheat.
TY for your relentless pursuit of your children, including those who get lost or struggle with believing in you. I know you are pursuing A + M, + I know prayer makes a difference. It's comforting to know our prayers hinder the demonic enemies we have, + eventually they will be defeated.
Stir your Holy Spirit to soften their hearts so they will be more receptive to the truth. May they start seeing signs of you everywhere-in your creation, in the miracles of daily life, in your protection of them, etc. May they not be able to forget this evidence. May they never see the world's wisdom as the correct path to follow in life; may they understand why your ways are so much better for us. May they feel no resentment if they consider that I am surely praying for them.
Since A is not inclined to go to church with me at the present time, I ask that she hear your word from some other source from whom she will receive it gladly. May what she hears resonate with her spirit + give her + M the epiphany they need for eternal salvation.
May the prayers of your saints, the swords of your angels, + your Spirit defy the evil ones fighting for their souls. May A + M hunger + thirst for righteousness, + fight back too.
Lord, I have prayed for more faith, + I believe you are already doing something to fulfill this request. There are certainly innumerable times that parents have prayed for their children for many years, + you've granted their requests. This is something I know is your will- you don't want anyone to perish-so that gives me confidence that you have this in hand.
Keep them away from dangerous people + dangerous situation. Expose all false teachings + false prophets to them in a way they cannot deny. May any false beliefs that may currently be sticking to their spirits be like soap bubbles, which pop + disappear.
Protect them from premature death; dying in unbelief; accidents, injury or disease, esp. the disabling kind; dangerous + evil people; loss of their livelihoods; reputation or credit damage; identity theft; property theft; deceiving or seducing spirits; false teachings; false prophets; or anything that leads them away from you. Keep them healthy in body + soul. May they not be forced into taking any dangerous medical treatments, + may they thoroughly research any that are advocated for from reliable sources.
Protect my relationship with them so the lines of communication will be restored + remain open + healthy. If A does not want me to discuss religion with her, help me to witness silently through my actions. Give me wisdom + discernment on how to speak to them, + help me to always act righteously + in love.
