DATE: 04/08/2024 EXAMINATION: ABDOMINOPELVIC USG CLINICAL HISTORY: LAP _ BACK PAINS, R/O RENAL STONES ABDOMEN AND PELVIC ULTRASOUND REPORT There is a complicated cyst of the right ovary. It measured about (8.44 x 7.18 x 8.19) cm, a volume of 259.83 mls and shows multiple thin internal septations. The left ovary measured about (4.26 x 3.07 x 2.63) cm and shows multiple peripheral cysts. There is mild pouch of Douglas fluid of volume, 2.32 mls. The uterus is anteverted and homogenous. It measured (6.30 x 3.33 x 4.55) cm which is normal. There are no fibroids. The endometrial stripe is of normal thickness. There is no gestational sac. The cervix is normal. The urinary bladder wall is of normal thickness. No intraluminal calculus present. The kidneys are of normal echopattern and size bilaterally. Both show good corticomedullary differentiation. There is no calculus or hydronephrosis. The liver is homogenous and of normal echopattern and size of 13.81 cm in MCL. No focal or diffuse mass lesion seen. The intra and extrahepatic bile ducts are normal. The gall bladder wall is of normal thickness. No intraluminal calculus present. The spleen, pancreas and great vessels show normal features. There are no enlarged para-aortic lymph nodes. There is no intra-abdominal mass. There is no ascites. Impression: 1. Complicated right ovarian cyst 2. Left ovarian features suggestive of possible bilateral polycystic ovaries 3. Mild POD fluid ? Pelvic inflammatory disease 4. Normal abdominal praying for total healing for my daughter
