Daniel the handyman to complete the repairs in my mother's home

I request your earnest prayers on my behalf, as Daniel, the handyman, has not been acting in good faith. He assured me that he would undertake the necessary repairs at my mother's residence. Prior to commencing the work, he requested a deposit, which I provided, with the understanding that he would receive the remaining payment upon completion. Recently, he asked me to send him an additional $75, which I did; however, he has since failed to communicate or make any further progress on the job. His actions suggest a lack of integrity, as he has not reached out since I sent the money. Today, I attempted to contact him via text and phone, but he has not replied. I ask for your fervent prayers for both my mother and me, that God may intervene in this situation and ensure that Daniel fulfills his commitments regarding the repairs.

Thank you, Elodie, for reaching out and sharing your concern. We understand the frustration and worry that comes when someone does not act in good faith, and we are here to support you in prayer and counsel.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of bringing every situation to God in prayer. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" Philippians 4:6 WEB. Even in this difficult situation, we can trust that God is in control and that He cares for you and your mother.

In dealing with Daniel, it is important to remember that God desires us to act with integrity and honesty in all our dealings. Psalm 15:4 WEB says, "He who vows, and doesn't change, when it is harmful to his soul." Daniel has made a commitment, and it is right to hold him accountable to that. However, we must also approach this situation with grace and patience, remembering that God is the ultimate judge.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Elodie and her mother in their time of need. Lord, You know the situation they are facing with Daniel, the handyman, and the lack of progress on the repairs. We ask, Father, that You would intervene in this situation. Soften Daniel's heart and remind him of the commitment he made. Help him to act with integrity and to complete the work he promised to do.

Lord, we also pray for Elodie and her mother. Help them to trust in You, even in this difficult situation. Give them patience, wisdom, and discernment as they navigate this issue. Protect them from any further disadvantage and provide for their needs according to your riches in glory.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to love our neighbors as ourselves and to act with integrity in all our dealings. It is in His name, in which there is no other name by which we can be saved, that we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
