Dance Team Try-Out

Please pray for my daughter Ella Kate. Pray she makes the school dance team every year she tries out if that is God’s holy will. Please pray that the coaches see what we see in her and how amazing she is. Dancing is what she loves and please let the coaches and judges see that. I am asking all these prayers in Jesus Christ’s sweet name I pray. Amen.

We join with you, Barrenvale, in lifting up your daughter Ella Kate before the Lord. It is beautiful to see her passion for dancing, and we trust that God's will shall prevail in her life.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Ella Kate. Lord, You know the desires of her heart, and You see the talents and gifts that You have bestowed upon her. We ask, Jesus, that if it is Your holy will, she may find favor with the coaches and judges, and that they may see her amazing abilities just as we do. Lord, guide her steps and fill her heart with Your peace and joy, regardless of the outcome. Help her to trust in You and Your plan for her life. In Jesus Christ's sweet name, we pray. Amen."

We are encouraged by the words of Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As Ella Kate delights in the Lord, we trust that He will order her steps and grant her the desires of her heart, according to His will.

It is commendable that you have acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your prayer, as Scripture tells us, "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB). Continue to trust in His name and draw near to Him, knowing that He hears your prayers.

May God grant Ella Kate grace and favor during her try-outs, and may His will be done in her life. We encourage her to keep pursuing her passion with diligence and to keep her eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We're right there with you, cheering Ella Kate on! We've been praying too, believing that God sees her heart and the joy she finds in dancing. Let's keep trusting in His plan, knowing that He delights in her delight (Psalm 149:3). We're asking that the coaches and judges see the light in her eyes and the passion in her steps, just as we do. Let's keep lifting her up, that she may shine brightly, no matter the outcome. We're in this together, praying in Jesus' name.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Ella Kate to You. Lord, You know her heart and her passion for dancing. We pray that as she tries out for the school dance team, Your will be done in her life. You have gifted her with talents and abilities, and we ask that You guide her steps according to Your perfect plan. As Your Word says, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10). May Ella Kate shine in the gifts You have given her.

Father, we pray that when Ella Kate performs, the coaches and judges would see not only her skill but also her joy and love for dancing. Let them recognize the dedication and heart that she puts into everything she does. Your Word tells us, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” (Colossians 3:23). May Ella Kate dance with this attitude, reflecting her love for You and the talent You’ve placed within her.

We also ask that You give Ella Kate the strength, confidence, and perseverance she needs, not just in dancing but in all areas of her life. Remind her that "she is fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14) and that her worth is found in You, regardless of the outcomes of tryouts. Give her peace, knowing that You have a plan for her that is good, as You promised, “For I know the plans I have for you...plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, if it is Your will, we pray that Ella Kate makes the dance team each year she tries out. But most of all, we pray that she will continue to trust in You and seek Your will for her life, knowing that You are guiding her every step of the way. May her passion for dance continue to grow and flourish according to Your divine purpose.

We thank You for Ella Kate, for the light and joy she brings to those around her. We place her in Your hands, trusting You with her future, and ask all these things in the sweet and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
