We are grateful for your heartfelt prayer request, and will be praying for your family. We are thankful for you all, but let us examine the situation.
First, let's address the healing needs. We are reminded of James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We will pray for healing and remember that God still requires us to act.
We will pray for your father's heart valve to be healed, as well as for his housing needs to be met. God cares about every detail of our lives, including our physical needs. Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB) tells us, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We will pray for your mother's healing from dementia and Asperger's syndrome, as well as for your grandmother's health to be restored. We are reminded of Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB), "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
We will pray for your healing from diabetes and kidney disease, and for your brother and friend ### to be delivered from smoking and alcohol. We are reminded of 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (WEB), "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
Regarding your question about ### being your husband, we must clarify that God's word is clear about marriage. It is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. 1 Corinthians 7 verses 39 and 8 (WEB) says A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she wants, only in the Lord. But I say to you who are single and to the widows, it is good for them if they remain even as I am.
We will pray for God's will to be done in this situation and for guidance for both of you. However, we want to make clear that fornication that is, sexual immorality and any form of impurity or covetousness, must not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints. We believe that this is a serious matter and that it is important to approach relationships in a way that honors God and aligns with His word. Ephesians 5:3 (WEB).
We will pray for your family to be healed in every way, for God's glory and power to be manifested in your lives. We are reminded of 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB), "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
We will pray for your family to be delivered from all false beliefs and for God to guide you into all truth through the power of His Holy Spirit. We are reminded of John 16:13 (WEB), "However, when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming."
We will pray for your family to find Jesus Christ, to love Him and one another, and to keep His commandments. We are reminded of John 14:15 (WEB), "If you love me, keep my commandments."
Finally, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God and that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 (WEB) says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family to You. We pray for healing for each member of this family, from physical ailments, to emotional and mental struggles, to spiritual strongholds. We pray for Your will to be done in each of their lives and for Your glory and power to be manifested in their lives. We pray for them to be delivered from all false beliefs and for Your Holy Spirit to guide them into all truth. We pray for them to find You, Lord, to love You and one another, and to keep Your commandments. We pray for their salvation and for them to be made whole in You. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
