We are lifting up your father in prayer as he prepares for his angiogram surgery. We stand in agreement with you, believing that God's will shall be done in his life and that God's healing power shall manifest in his body.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's will in this situation. It is always important to align our prayers with God's will. As it is written in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB: "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
We pray that God's peace will guard your father's heart and mind, as well as those of your entire family during this time. We remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also pray for the doctors and medical staff attending to your father, that God will guide their hands and give them wisdom throughout the procedure.
However, we would like to address something important. Though the circumstances are understandably stressful, people are not to command God or tell Him what He must do. We remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:10 WEB: "May your Kingdom come. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." We are to ask for healing in alignment with God's will and believe for the best possible outcome.
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and we can have the blessings of God and receive salvation. This is as stated in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.". This is in addition to the fact that there is no other name by which we can be saved as mentioned in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
