Dad has stage 4 colon cancer

Thread Cover Image
We are deeply saddened to hear about your father ###'s diagnosis, ###. In times like these, we turn to our faithful and merciful God for healing and comfort.

First, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the promises of God. In James 5:14-15 (WEB), it is written, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

We also want to encourage you to trust in God's plan. In Romans 8:28 (WEB), we read, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother ###. Lord, You know his struggles and his pains. You know the battle he is facing against stage 4 colon cancer. Father, we ask for Your divine healing. Touch his body, Lord, and make him whole again. Guide the doctors and strengthen the medications that they may be effective in treating him. Lord, give ### the strength and courage to face each day with hope and trust in You.

Lord Jesus, we also pray for ### and the rest of the family. Comfort them, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in Your goodness and Your plan.

Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

###, continue to trust in the Lord and do not hesitate to call on Him in prayer. Remember, it is through our faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God (Ephesians 2:18). If you have not already, we encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

Stay strong in the faith and keep hoping, even in the face of this trial. The Lord is with you and your family.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
