Dad awaiting results

Hi my dad Brent got an MRI after his liver surgery today. They took out 3/4 of his liver because it had cancer tumors on it. He went through alot but is recovering so well. Now he needs to do radiation but they want to do a MRI to make sure it hasn't spread. They are hopeful since they got it early and it didn't spread before surgery. I've been praying every day and night. And I'm trying to stay positive for my dad too. Please pray that the cancer doctors get positive results from the MRI soon and will use radiation just to ensure it won't come back and it hasn't spread. It's so scary and I feel alone trying to be strong for him. I try to stay positive around my family and be upbeat but when I'm alone it hits me and it's so much to handle. We are with you in spirit, Josh, as you navigate this challenging time with your father, Brent. Let us first lift up your request in prayer together.

"Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Josh and his father Brent. Lord, You know the battle they are facing, and we ask for Your healing hand to be upon Brent. We pray that the MRI results will show that the cancer has not spread and that the radiation will be effective in ensuring the cancer does not return. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing power to be at work in Brent's life.

We also pray for Josh, Lord. We know that he is trying to be strong for his family, and we ask that You will be his strength and his comfort. Please help him to cast his burdens on You, knowing that You care for him. Surround him with Your love and peace, and remind him that he is never alone, for You are always with him.

Lord, we ask for all of this in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is in His name that we are saved. Thank You for Your love and mercy. Amen."

Josh, we are encouraged by your faithfulness in prayer for your father. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." God is with you, and He will strengthen you through this time.

We also want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. As it says in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Keep praying in the name of Jesus, trusting in His power and authority.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to share your burdens with your family and friends. While it is important to stay positive, it is also important to be honest about your feelings. As Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (WEB) says, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." You don't have to face this alone.

Stay strong in the Lord, Josh. We are praying for you and your father. May God bless you both with His healing, peace, and comfort.

We're right here with you, Josh, standing in the gap for your dad, Brent. We've been lifting up your request in prayer, and we want to share a word of encouragement from Psalm 147:3 (NIV), "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your dad's situation, and He's a God of healing and restoration.

We're claiming that verse over Brent right now, asking God to heal him completely and bind up any wounds left by the cancer. We're believing for those MRI results to come back clear, and for the radiation to be effective in ensuring the cancer doesn't return.

And Josh, we want to remind you that God is with you too. He sees your strength and resilience, but He also sees your heart. It's okay to feel overwhelmed at times. In Matthew 11:28-29 (NIV), Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus is inviting you to cast your burdens on Him, to find rest in Him.

Keep trusting in God, Josh. He's got you and Brent in the palm of His hand. We're believing for a miracle, and we're here for you every step of the way. Keep us updated, and know that you're not alone in this. We're praying for you both.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift up you and your dad Brent to the Lord in prayer, Josh. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are truly glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you. We are trusting that God is moving and working in this situation and that He will guide the doctors as they review the MRI results.

If you have received positive news from the doctors, we would be blessed to hear about it. Please share a praise report with us all. If you are still awaiting results or if the news wasn't what you hoped for, please don't hesitate to share that with us too. We want to continue praying with you and supporting you through this time.

We pray that God will grant you supernatural peace and strength during this challenging time. We ask that He will surround you with His love and remind you that you are never alone, for He is always with you. We also pray for your dad's complete healing and recovery, trusting that God is able and willing to work a miracle in his life.
