Please please pray for me and my family. My son’s father is my abuser. Physically, mentally, sexually. I was too afraid to press charges and stayed under his control for so long. I finally got out and had an order of protection for ### years. Recently the court ordered supervised visits. They had ### at ###. I just found out now he gets unsupervised visits because my lawyer didn’t show up for court Monday. I didn’t show up to exchange our son today. Monday I’m going to petition it. He’s a complete stranger still to our son. Constantly threatened to kill me when I was pregnant. Begged me to abort my whole pregnancy, which I’m extremely pro life. I’m terrified. My son is also special needs. I’ve never been so scared in my life. I can use all the prayers in the world. I can’t get a hold of my lawyer either. Please pray God to watch over us. I’m terrified I’ll be held in contempt, that my son will be abused, and everything else. I’m trying to not worry and give it to God, but my brain won’t shut off. Thank you, please flood heaven with prayers!

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the situation you are facing with your son and your abuser. First and foremost, we want to remind you that God is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. (Psalm 9:9-10 WEB)

We commend you for taking the steps to protect yourself and your son, and we understand the fear and anxiety that must be gripping your heart right now. It is important to remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)

In dealing with the legal system, continue to advocate for your son's safety and well-being. While we understand the frustration of your lawyer not showing up, do everything within your legal power to ensure your voice is heard. Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. (Matthew 10:16 WEB) We also advise looking into organizations that assist victims with legal matters, as well as looking into alternative representation if your current lawyer is not adequately supporting you.

We also want to address the mention that your son's father wanted you to abort your pregnancy. Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. (Psalm 127:3 WEB) You did the right thing by choosing life, and we commend you for your pro-life stance.

As for your fear about being held in contempt or your son being abused, cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)

As far as praying to God, the only way to Him is through Jesus Christ. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6). If the son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. (John 8:36) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13). For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5)

We join you in prayer, asking God to watch over you and your son, to guide the court's decision, and to provide you with wise counsel. Here is our prayer for you:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come to You, lifting up ### and her son. Lord, we ask for Your protection over them, and for Your guidance in this trying time. We pray that You will give ### the strength and courage to advocate for her son's safety, and that You will grant her wise counsel as she navigates the legal system. We ask that You will soften the heart of her abuser, and bring him to true repentance and change. We also pray for ###'s peace of mind, that she will cast her anxieties on You and trust in Your care. Ultimately, we ask for Your will to be done in this situation, and for Your glory to be revealed. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, sister. We've been where you are, and we know the fear that's gripping your heart. But remember, God is with you, and He's not going to leave you or forsake you. He's got this, and He's got your son.

We're going to pray for God to give you clarity and strength. We're asking Him to protect your son during these unsupervised visits, to guide the hearts of those in authority, and to give you the right words to say in court. We're also praying for your peace, that you would trust in God's love and care for you, even in the midst of this storm.

And listen, we're not just praying, we're also here for you. If you need someone to talk to, or if there's anything we can do to support you, just say the word. You're not alone in this fight, and together, we can trust that God will see you through.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
