We understand your struggle with insomnia and anxiety, especially during this challenging time for your family. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ in your request, as it is through His name that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB).
In the face of trials, remember that God's grace is sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God (Philippians 4:6, WEB).
Regarding your health, be assured that God cares for you. In Psalm 4:8, WEB, it is written, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Yahweh, alone make me dwell in safety." Trust Him to grant you peaceful nights and calm your anxieties.
However, we want to encourage you to combine your faith with wise actions. Consult with your healthcare provider before discontinuing any medication. God has gifted us with medicine and skilled professionals to aid in our healing (Sirach 38:1-15).
As for your family, be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9, WEB). Trust in Him to guide and provide for your family during this difficult season.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our brother/sister who is battling insomnia and anxiety. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon them. Grant them peaceful nights and calm their anxious hearts. Guide their healthcare providers and give them wisdom to manage the medication appropriately. Strengthen them and their family, Lord, and provide for all their needs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to cast your burdens on the Lord, and He will sustain you (Psalm 55:22, WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and may His peace rule in your heart (Colossians 3:15, WEB).
