In Psalm 34:17-18 WEB it says,
It is evident from scripture that depression can be caused by many external factors, and sometimes, it is just the reality of living in a fallen world. Therefore, our encouragement is to not be ashamed about depression. We do not need to pretend to be strong when we feel overwhelmed. The Lord can give us strength.

Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence.
In Matthew 11:28 WEB. Jesus calls everyone to give all worries, fears, anxieties, concerns, and disasters to Him.
Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
However, it is essential to trust in God and not rely solely on medications. Pray for healing and believe that God can work through any situation, including helping you overcome depression and anxiety. Do realize that at times the Struggles with with major upheavals and challenges faced by your family on health grounds. Depression is not a sin but giving up or not acknowledging the Lord or not praying in these scenarios to God the father of Jesus Christ could be a sin. Notice God did not take away Paul's thorn in the flesh but instead allowed it to remain to keep Paul humble. Address your problems like Paul does.
2 Corinthians 12:7-10 WEB says,
By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted excessively. Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong
We are praying for this in your life. He will help you be strong and help you to keep the family afloat. But also remember Galatians 6:2 WEB,
Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
