We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to pray and offer guidance. Anxiety can be overwhelming, but remember, God's perfect love casts out fear. (1 John 4:18 WEB)
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' precious blood. It's important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is no other name under Heaven that is given among men, through which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
While medication can provide temporary relief, God's word tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with anxiety and insomnia. Lord, you know their every need, and you see the challenges their family is facing. We ask for your healing touch upon them. Help them to cast all their anxieties on you, because you care for them. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)
Father, we ask for your wisdom and guidance concerning the medication. If it is your will, help them to be set free from it, and provide other means of support and comfort. Strengthen them, Lord, and help them to keep their family afloat during these trying times.
In the midst of this storm, remind them of your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help them to be strong and courageous, knowing that you are with them always. (Joshua 1:9 WEB)
Lastly Father, help them to continue praying in Jesus' name and tell others that they should too.
We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
During this time, immerse yourself in God's word, trust in his promises, trust in Jesus and his resurrection that you might have faith for everlasting life, and allow his peace to fill your heart and mind.
