We understanding your struggles with anxiety and insomnia, especially with the significant health challenges your family is facing. We want to lift you up in prayer and encourage you with the truth of God's Word.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' precious blood, for it is through His blood that we have redemption and forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7, WEB). However, we want to remind you that while God can certainly heal you supernaturally, He also uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing power. The medication you are taking should not be viewed as a lack of faith but as a provision from God to help you through this difficult time.
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with anxiety and insomnia. Lord, You promise us in Your Word that we should cast all our anxieties on You, because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Please bring comfort and peace to our brother/sister's mind and body.
Guide the doctors and medical professionals, granting them wisdom to provide the best care. If it is Your will, Lord, we ask that You heal our brother/sister completely from these ailments, that they may be a testament of Your healing power.
Strengthen their faith and give them the power to endure these trials. Help them to keep their family afloat, providing for their needs according to Your riches in glory.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, even in the midst of your struggles. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Donβt be afraid, for I am with you. Donβt be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church body. They can provide practical help and spiritual guidance as you navigate this challenging time.
Lastly, always remember that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
