Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Haftdoch and their son to You. Lord, we acknowledge that You are the God of miracles, and nothing is impossible for You. We humbly ask for Your divine intervention in the life of Haftdoch's son, who is struggling with anger, hatred, and alcohol.
Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 16:32 that "Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city." We pray that You would grant Haftdoch's son the strength and self-control to overcome his anger and replace it with Your peace and love. Help him to surrender his heart to You, allowing Your Holy Spirit to transform his thoughts and actions.
Lord, we also ask for deliverance from any hatred that may be consuming Haftdoch's son. Your Word teaches us in 1 John 4:20-21 that "If anyone says, 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother." We pray that You would soften his heart and fill it with Your unconditional love, enabling him to forgive and reconcile with those he harbors hatred towards.
Furthermore, we lift up the struggle with alcohol addiction that Haftdoch's son is facing. We know that You are the ultimate healer and deliverer. In Psalm 107:20, it says, "He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction." We ask for Your healing touch to break the chains of addiction and set him free. Fill him with a renewed desire for a life of sobriety and grant him the strength to resist the temptations that come his way.
Lord, we pray for Haftdoch as well, that You would grant them wisdom, patience, and unwavering faith as they support their son through this challenging time. Surround them with a community of believers who can offer encouragement and guidance.
We trust in Your unfailing love and power to bring about a miraculous transformation in Haftdoch's son's life. May Your grace and mercy be poured out upon him, leading him to a life of peace, joy, and freedom in You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
