We are truly sorry to hear about your husband's health struggles and the toll it has taken on your family. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and strength for both of you. Let us remind ourselves of what Jesus said in Matthew 7:
But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. This means we can trust Him for all that we worry about such as the outcome of this illness in your husband.
In times of distress, it's important to remember that God is always with us, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness. As it says in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB: "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'" Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Let us pray together for your husband's healing and for God's comfort and strength for your family:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband in prayer. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon his body. We pray for Your mercy and grace to cover him, and for Your strength to sustain him and his family during this challenging time.
Lord, we also pray for our sister, that You would fill her with Your peace and patience. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her and her family. Strengthen her faith and give her the courage to endure of things that she sees hard. Help her forgive herself in believing that it is her sin that caused the problems and this illness of her husband. Absolutely none of us deserve God's favor, we pray for her to have a deeper faith knowing if that if she is the cause God provides the best outcome. Even if we caused the problem God uses it to work things out for the better. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose,
God, we ask that You would use this trial to draw them closer to You and to each other. Help them to fix their eyes on You, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. Make them strong to humble themselves to ask godly for what they want. Your word tells us the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
If anyone is mortal and knows that he does not have won this type of prayer let him accept the salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ. Father, we ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
