We join you in your plea to the Lord Jesus, acknowledging His power to heal and restore. We are reminded of the words in Psalm 4:8, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." This tells us that God is the source of our peace and rest.
Firstly, we want to commend you for turning to Jesus in your time of need and acknowledging His precious blood. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace, as it is written in Hebrews 4:16, "Let's therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
However, we want to gently remind you that while medication can be a temporary aid, our ultimate healing comes from God. We encourage you to continue seeking Him, trusting in His ability to heal you completely. As it is written in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our sister/brother who is struggling with insomnia and anxiety. Lord, You know the challenges they have been facing, the health issues their family is going through. We ask You, Lord, to cover them with Your precious blood, to heal them completely, and to help them overcome this dependency on medication. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to keep their family afloat during these trying times. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to cast all your burdens on the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Trust in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
