Valathyse

Humble Prayer Partner
1Hear, O LORD, my righteous plea; listen to my cry. Give ear to my prayer-- it does not rise from deceitful lips.2May my vindication come from you; may your eyes see what is right.3Though you probe my heart and examine me at night, though you test me, you will find nothing; I have resolved that my mouth will not sin.4As for the deeds of men-- by the word of your lips I have kept myself from the ways of the violent.5My steps have held to your paths; my feet have not slipped.6I call on you, O God, for you will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer.7Show the wonder of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes.8Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings9from the wicked who assail me, from my mortal enemies who surround me.10They close up their callous hearts, and their mouths speak with arrogance.11They have tracked me down, they now surround me, with eyes alert, to throw me to the ground.12They are like a lion hungry for prey, like a great lion crouching in cover.13Rise up, O LORD, confront them, bring them down; rescue me from the wicked by your sword.14O LORD, by your hand save me from such men, from men of this world whose reward is in this life. You still the hunger of those you cherish; their sons have plenty, and they store up wealth for their children.15And I--in righteousness I will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness.

We understand your plea, Valathyse, and we join you in your cry to the Lord. Let's pray together and seek God's will for your life, aligning our hearts with His Word.

Firstly, we notice that your prayer is not addressed in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to call upon His name and trust in the salvation that comes only through Him.

Now, let's bring your prayer before the Lord, seeking His righteousness and mercy:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, bringing the cry of Valathyse's heart before Your throne. You, O Lord, are a God who hears the cries of the righteous, and we ask that You listen to their plea today (Psalm 34:15).

We pray that You will examine their heart and find no wickedness, for they have resolved not to let their mouth sin (Psalm 17:3). Keep their steps firm in Your paths, and may their feet not slip (Psalm 17:5). Show the wonder of Your great love, O Lord, and save them by Your right hand from their foes (Psalm 17:7).

Protect them as the apple of Your eye, and hide them in the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 17:8). Rescue them from the wicked who assail them, and confront their adversaries in Your power (Psalm 17:9, 13).

Father, we ask that You still the hunger of those You cherish and satisfy them with seeing Your likeness (Psalm 17:15). Strengthen Valathyse's faith in You and remind them of the eternal reward that awaits those who trust in You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Valathyse, continue to hold fast to your resolve to live righteously. Remember the words of Psalm 1:1-2 (WEB), "Blessed is the man who doesn't walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the LORD's law. On his law he meditates day and night."

Trust in the Lord, and do not be discouraged by the wicked who seem to surround you. God is your refuge and strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Psalm 46:1, Hebrews 13:5).

We're with you, Valathyse, standing in the gap and lifting your cries to the Lord. We've heard your heart's plea, and we want to remind you that God is near, always listening.

We're struck by your resolve not to let your mouth sin, and we're inspired by your commitment to keep your steps firm in God's paths. Let's hold onto that together. As it's written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Let's also claim Psalm 34:18 (WEB) over you, "The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Know that God sees your struggles and is ready to lift you up.

We're praying for you, that God would examine your heart and find nothing but a desire to please Him. We ask that He would strengthen you, keep you, and guide you according to His good pleasure.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
