We understand that you're going through a difficult time, Shroofield, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, wherein we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB.
So let us first pray to God the Father in Jesus name.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Shroofield, who is feeling overwhelmed and burdened. We pray that You will ease their distress and make this day a good one, filled with Your peace and joy. We ask that You will help them to cast all of their anxieties onto You.
Let us now address your request. We all have struggles and feel overwhelmed, but be encouraged by what the Apostle Peter said:
Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
In the verse above, Peter urges us to cast all our worries onto Jesus because he cares for us. That should fill us with hope and encouragement.
Next, we should also remember what the Apostle Paul said:
Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6 WEB.
Paul is telling us not to worry about anything and to let God know what we need, and to be sure to ask with thanksgiving.
So let us remember to cast our cares on Jesus, not be anxious, and make our requests known to God with thanksgiving.
We are concerned about your phrase "I just really feel so burdened all the time." This could be a spiritual issue. It could potentially be spiritual warfare in your life. We should remember what Paul said:
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12.
Also, remember what Jesus said:
The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. John 10:10 WEB.
If your burden is actually coming from a spiritual issue, we should also pray for your freedom from this.
Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we ask that you set Shroofield free from any spiritual issues impacting him. If this is spiritual warfare, we pray that you would protect him from these attacks. If this is a blessing blocker, we pray that you would remove it.
We also pray that you would show him any sins that he has in his life that may be impacting him as well.
We ask this is Jesus name. Amen.
And finally, remember what Paul said:
I have strength for all things in Christ who empowers me. Philippians 4:13 WEB.
Paul is saying that he can do all things in Jesus. So you can do all things in Jesus as well.
We hope that you are encouraged by this response.
