We understand that you are dealing with discomfort regarding at least two of your coworkers. First, let us remember God’s promise in Philippians 4:6 “Have no anxiety at all, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Verses 7 and 8 go on, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts… Whatever things are true, …honest, …just, …pure, …lovely, …of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. We pray we have no suggestion of anything that does not align with these virtues. Let’s pray for “verse 7 peace” peace, if it does not exist at your workplace.
In situations like yours, it's essential to first pray for unity amongst us all. Remember, you are a city that is set on a hill which cannot be hid (Matthew Chapter 5) under the constant watch of others. Let us not forget in Proverbs we are advised not to give an opportunity for any to speak bad about your character as a result of our behavior.
We pray for the wisdom, comfort, strength, and guidance of the Holy Spirit to navigate this situation. If there are some discomforts at play because of ungodly behavior, use verses in Romans here and pray we all have hands that are pure and hearts that are holy when working together with colleagues. Romans 16:17 Because of this, I urge you, brothers, …watch those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, (Matthew 5:16, Matthew 5:14) and turn away from them. God knows all and sees all. Romans 12:16-18 cites, Be of the same mind one toward another. Don't set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don't be wise in your own conceits. Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. .
First Peter 2:18 says Servants, be in subjection to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked. Yes, sometimes, we will not be able to do anything about a colleague’s character or behavior, except to endure, if they will not change or cannot be changed. Workplaces are full of all kinds of people and backgrounds. We pray that we will say something to the needy, will we respond in obedience with the pursuit of possible witnesses for the Kingdom if they are not a Believer? None of us knows who among us is present for a word spoken in season to a prepared heart or what we will say to the needy Colossians 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Our prayer and hope are for a peaceful environment and seen as a positive witness for our Lord Jesus. Remember the Words of Jesus, a house divided against itself cannot stand Mark 3:25
