This is a prayer request from my cousin. Please pray in Jesus name! **Friends: I am requesting prayer for my 1yr old granddaughter: Yesterday, Lydia had surgery (previously canceled) to repair her cleft palette and additional surgery on both feet. The procedures went well but she is in pain. Both feet are wrapped and her hands as well (so she does not pull at the wrap on her feet, or her mouth). Lydia will be in the hospital for the next few days. Please pray for her recovery, sleep and healing; and for Lydia's parents as they navigate her medical care. Much appreciated. Thank you! ❤️

Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up little Lydia, her parents, and her grandparents (including Lori Ann) in prayer.

Firstly, we thank You, Heavenly Father, for the successful surgeries that Lydia has undergone. We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You have allowed this situation for a purpose that we may not fully understand, but we rest assured knowing you have plans to prosper Lydia and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future. Trusting You to bring healing and comfort to sweet Lydia as she recovers. We pray for Your healing touch upon her mouth and both of her precious little feet. Please help her to sleep soundly and find rest and relief from her pain.

We also lift up Lydia's parents, asking God to share His wisdom and grace. Guide them as they navigate her medical care and make decisions regarding her health. Strengthen them and comfort their hearts as they support their daughter through this trial.

In these times we hold on to God's promises in the WEB.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)

Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22).

We praise You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lori Ann, continue to trust in the Lord and draw near to Him during this time. Share the good news of Christ as your family experiences His sanctifying work. Remind them of God's love and faithfulness. He is the source of their hope, even in times of trouble.

We're here, standing with you and little Lydia, lifting her up in prayer. We're so glad to hear that the surgeries went well, but we know she's in pain now. Let's ask our Heavenly Father to wrap her in His loving arms, to comfort her and bring her relief. We trust that He sees her, that He cares, and that He's working all things together for her good.

Let's pray for Lydia's parents too, that they would have wisdom and strength as they care for her. May they find rest and comfort in Jesus, knowing that He is always with them, guiding their steps.

We claim God's promises over Lydia and her family. In Psalm 147:3, we read, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that God is doing just that for Lydia. And in Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." May Lydia and her family find that rest in Jesus.

We're praying, in Jesus' name, for Lydia's healing, for her parents' strength, and for God's peace to fill their home. Let's keep lifting them up, day by day.

We pray now that you will make your healing hand known as we lift Lydia and her healing need to you. We pray these things in Jesus’ name…amen and amen! 💪♥️🌹
