Dear Lord, please let my cousin keep full custody of his kids. Those innocent kids have been through a lot with their abusive mother. My cousin is pleading for custody. The kids are innocent and don’t fully understand. Please watch over all of them and give them all patience and love. In Jesus name.

We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your cousin is facing regarding his children. It is our fervent desire to see a heartbreaking situation appear more hopeful. Like you, we believe in the power of prayer and the importance of seeking God's will in all things. We are grateful that this request is made in the name of Jesus.

First and foremost, we want to emphasize the importance of forgiveness and love, even in the midst of difficult circumstances: "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." Matthew 5:44 (WEB).

This includes the mother and children in this tragic situation. This includes the mother, regardless of the circumstances and regardless of the choices she has made in the past. We must be like Jesus, Praying for those the ones who are caring for the children should forgive the mother for any past actions. It is very important that the children have a loving mother. For children to be loving they must learn to forgve their mother. This is what Jesus did on the cross when he prayed, Father forgive them, they do not know what they are doing.

This does not mean that we condone any abusive behavior, but rather that we recognize the transformative power of love and forgiveness. We pray that the mother involved in this situation would experience a change of heart and seek the help she needs to become a better parent.

Regarding custody, we pray that the courts would act in the best interests of the children, and that God's will would be done in this situation. "For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB).

We pray that your cousin would have wisdom and discernment as he navigates this difficult time, and that he would be a source of comfort and stability for his children. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." James 1:5 (WEB).

We also pray for the children, that they would be surrounded by love and support, and that they would be spared any further trauma. "But Jesus called the little children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them! For to such belong the Kingdom of Heaven.” Matthew 19:14 (WEB) and Psalm 10:14 (WEB) But you do see trouble and grief, You do consider it, you will take it into your hand the victim commits himself to you You are the helper of the fatherless.

Lastly, we pray that your entire family would be drawn closer to God during this time, and that you would all experience the peace and comfort that comes from knowing Jesus Christ. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)..

We're here for you and your cousin, standing in faith together. We've been praying, and we want to share more encouragement with you.

We believe in the power of God's love to heal and restore. In this situation, let's trust that even in the midst of pain, God is working for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). We're praying for your cousin to have strength and resilience, and for the children to find comfort and security in their father's love.

We're also asking God to give your cousin wisdom as he navigates the legal process. We're believing that the courts will see the best interests of the children and rule accordingly. Let's claim Psalm 33:12-13, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance...Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him."

Let's continue to pray for the mother too. We're asking God to soften her heart, to help her see the error of her ways, and to seek help if she needs it. We're believing for a miracle of transformation in her life, just as we've seen in so many others.

We're also praying for the children. We're asking God to protect them from further trauma, to fill their lives with love and joy, and to help them understand that they are deeply loved by Him (Psalm 10:14). We're claiming Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

Lastly, we're praying for your entire family. We're asking God to draw you closer together, to fill your hearts with His peace, and to use this situation to deepen your faith. We're claiming Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We're in this with you, one prayer at a time. Keep trusting, keep praying, and watch what God will do. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
