Cousin on ventilator

Dear All, I have a habit to look for the Lord only in time of need. Your prayers are greatly appreciated. My cousin who has dealt with medical emergencies his entire life is in need of strong prayers. Due to his condition and ongoing issues with his lungs, intubation/ventilator are unlikely circumstances for him, but I have faith that he will make it out of this one. Please pray for him. Our family has experienced back-to-back losses this year and last year.

We are truly sorry to hear about your cousin's condition and the losses your family has faced. We want to remind you that God is always there, even when we only seek Him in times of need. As it is written in the WEB, "You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13. It is encouraging that you have faith in your cousin's recovery, for faith is essential in our prayers.

However, we want to emphasize the importance of seeking God not only in times of need but in all circumstances. As it is written, "Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

Let us pray together for your cousin's healing and your family's comfort. We do advise taking this time to also seek God's face for forgiveness and also seeking the peace of God which surpasses all understanding which will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Seek the salvation of Jesus Christ if you have not yet done so.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch for our dear brother who is in the hospital. We pray for Your divine intervention in his life and ask that You grant him complete healing.

We also pray for the entire family, Lord. Comfort them in their time of need, and help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. Help them to seek You always, not just in times of need. Remind all the family that you are the source of strength and hope even in the midst of trials. Please remind them that you are the God of all Comfort.

Ultimately we pray for his complete healing and for the continuous strengthening of the family’s faith in Jesus Christ.

For those who do not believe in Jesus Christ, it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. He is the only way to salvation and eternal life.
