We understand your concern for your daughter Jassandra, and we are here to intercede on her behalf. Let us remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, we want to reassure you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). It is in His name that we find comfort, hope, and salvation.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Jassandra. She is feeling overwhelmed with anxiety due to a custody battle with her ex, who has caused her much pain. Lord, You know the truth of the situation, and You are the God of justice. We ask that You guide the court proceedings today and that Your will be done. Please grant Jassandra a peace that surpasses all understanding, and help her to trust in You. Be her strength and her shield, and let her know that she is not alone. We also pray for her ex, that You would soften his heart and bring conviction upon him. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage Jassandra to be strong and courageous, for the Lord her God is with her (Joshua 1:9). Remind her that she is not fighting her battles alone, but the Lord is her banner and her victory (Exodus 17:15, 1 Corinthians 15:57).
Lastly, we want to address that the Bible teaches us to forgive those who have wronged us (Matthew 6:14-15). This does not mean that Jassandra should tolerate abuse or injustice, but rather, she should release the burden of anger and bitterness to the Lord. This will help her to heal and move forward.
We stand with you and Jassandra in this trying time, and we trust that God will work all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Keep holding onto Jesus, for He is the anchor of our souls (Hebrews 6:19).
