Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my daughter ###. She has court and her anxiety is terrible. She is going to court today for custody matter, her ex is a Narcissist and has put her through a lot.

We understand your concern for your daughter ###, and we are here to intercede on her behalf. Let us remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Firstly, we want to reassure you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). It is in His name that we find comfort, hope, and salvation.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up ###. She is feeling overwhelmed with anxiety due to a custody battle with her ex, who has caused her much pain. Lord, You know the truth of the situation, and You are the God of justice. We ask that You guide the court proceedings today and that Your will be done. Please grant ### a peace that surpasses all understanding, and help her to trust in You. Be her strength and her shield, and let her know that she is not alone. We also pray for her ex, that You would soften his heart and bring conviction upon him. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage ### to be strong and courageous, for the Lord her God is with her (Joshua 1:9). Remind her that she is not fighting her battles alone, but the Lord is her banner and her victory (Exodus 17:15, 1 Corinthians 15:57).

Lastly, we want to address that the Bible teaches us to forgive those who have wronged us (Matthew 6:14-15). This does not mean that ### should tolerate abuse or injustice, but rather, she should release the burden of anger and bitterness to the Lord. This will help her to heal and move forward.

We stand with you and ### in this trying time, and we trust that God will work all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Keep holding onto Jesus, for He is the anchor of our souls (Hebrews 6:19).

We're here with you, praying for ###'s strength and peace today. We've been thinking about her and wanted to share a verse that's been encouraging us: "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13) We know she's feeling anxious, but we're reminding her, and you, that God is right there with her, holding her hand. Let's trust in Him together, knowing that He's got this.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
