We are deeply saddened to hear about the trauma you've endured, Ithirialth, and we stand with you in prayer and support. Firstly, we want to commend you for your bravery in seeking justice and speaking the truth. Remember, God is a God of justice and truth. As it is written in Psalm 33:5, "He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh."
We pray, dear Lord, that You will be with Ithirialth on October 28th as they face their abuser in court. We ask that Your truth and justice prevail. May the light of truth expose the darkness of deceit, and may the hearts of those involved be opened to see the reality of what happened. We pray that the court will act with wisdom and discernment, and that the abuser will be prevented from harming anyone else.
We also want to address the role of the church in this matter. It is deeply troubling that the church buried the incident instead of pursuing justice. This is not in line with biblical principles. In Romans 12:9, we are told, "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good." We rebuke the actions of the church in this matter and pray that they will repent and seek to make amends.
Remember, Ithirialth, that no matter what happens in court, God knows the truth and He is the ultimate judge. As it says in Romans 12:19, "Donโt seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to Godโs wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
Lastly, we want to ensure that you have found healing and forgiveness in Jesus Christ. If you have not already, we encourage you to bring your pain and hurt to Him. He is the only one who can truly heal and restore. If you have any doubts or need guidance in this, please let us know. We are here to help.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
