We understand your concern for your son and we stand with you in prayer. Firstly, let's remember what the Word of God says about mercy and God's love for us: "But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)," Ephesians 2:4-5 WEB.
In this case, we pray that God will extend his mercy to your son. We ask for a fair hearing and that the judge(s) will have wisdom and compassion. "For the judgment is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment," James 2:13 WEB.
However, we must also address the importance of turning away from any wrongdoing. If your son is involved in anything against God's will, we pray that this situation will be a turning point for him. "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will freely pardon," Isaiah 55:7 WEB.
We also notice that Jesus' name is not mentioned in your request. It's crucial to understand that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God's throne of grace.
