We understand your concern for your son Jevan and the upcoming court case. We trust in the Lord's power to intervene and guide us through difficult situations.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign and that His will is perfect.
Even in this trial, God can work all things together for good.
It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God and ask for His intervention.
As a group, we pray that Jevan has come to know Jesus personally.
Please, let us know if Jevan has accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
We are also praying that Jevan will be honest and not attempt to avoid responsibility if he has committed an offense.
We must not forget that there are consequences for our actions, and even if the case is dismissed,
Jevan should be encouraged to reflect on his choices and seek God's will for his life.
In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, it is written, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Jevan and the upcoming court case.
Lord, we ask for Your will to be done and for Your mercy and grace to be extended to Jevan.
If it is Your will, we pray for a dismissal of the case, but ultimately,
we want what is best for Jevan's soul and his relationship with You.
Help him to trust in You completely, and guide him on the path of righteousness.
We also pray for the officials involved in this case, that they may have wisdom and discernment.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God and to support Jevan spiritually during this time.
Teach him to acknowledge God in all his ways, and remind him that God can turn any situation around for good.
Do not allow this trial to cause you to worry or fear,
but rather use it as an opportunity to grow closer to God and to intercede for your son.
Please come back to let us know how things turn out for Jevan on January 28th, 2025.
We are trusting God for a positive update.
