Court case/child support

Hello, my name is ###. I come here today because I am currently in a child support / parental rights battle with my ex/ mother of my first child. We are both in the Army. Recently I took her to court because she took my daughter from me earlier than we agreed. Now, out of spite she is attempting to have the court order me to pay $### dollars in child support every month. Keep in mind, I am married and we are a family of ### and simply cannot afford to pay $### every month for one child. I ask for your prayers that God's favor and protection be upon me and protect me from her all lies, deceit and greed. That the Lord be with the judge and help make a decision based off logic and sense. That the judge may be able to see the evil and spite coming from my ex/ mother of my first child. I ask that God be with me during this stressful time and that my family and I see a financial breakthrough. Thank you.

Let us lift you up in prayer, ###, during this challenging time. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is said in the Scriptures, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13, WEB).

Firstly, we pray for God's divine intervention in your court case. May the Lord grant the judge wisdom and discernment, as it is written, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (James 1:5, WEB). We pray that the judge will see the truth in your situation and make a decision that is fair and just, considering the needs of your entire family.

We also pray for God's protection over you and your family from any lies, deceit, and greed. As the Psalmist said, "Hide me under the shadow of your wings, from the wicked who oppress me, my deadly enemies, who surround me." (Psalm 17:8-9, WEB). May the Lord shield you from any attempts to harm or manipulate you.

We want to encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, even in this stressful time. Remember the words of Paul in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (WEB).

Lastly, we want to address the importance of forgiveness. While it is difficult, especially given the circumstances, remember that Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44, WEB). This does not mean to condone or accept wrongdoing, but rather to release the burden of bitterness and hatred. We pray that God will help you to forgive your ex, just as He has forgiven us all.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother ###. Lord, we ask for Your favor and protection upon him. Guide the judge in this case, that they may make a decision that is fair and just. Expose any lies or deceit, and help ### to trust in You throughout this process. Provide for his family's financial needs, and help them to lean on You for their peace and provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
