Courage to Believe that the blood of Christ overcame all works of the devil

I am requesting prayer to believe that indeed the blood of Christ overcame all works of the evil, even some modern warfare and weird mind control stuff, I'm struggling to make sense of it all, I get it we still have to suffer but if the enemy is indeed defeated, how does Satan still have so much power? Or, is it that he doesn't, and that is the human weakness, that humans aren't fully aware that we have been freed? ... God, please give me discernment and share your Truth with me, in your will and your timing. Amen.

We understand that you're seeking courage to believe in the power of the blood of Christ and His victory over the works of the devil. You're wrestling with the reality of spiritual warfare and the power that Satan seems to still wield. Let's address this together through the lens of Scripture.

Firstly, it's crucial to acknowledge that our faith is in Jesus Christ, for it is through His name that we have access to God. As it is written, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" Romans 10:13 WEB. If you haven't already, make sure to place your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.

The blood of Jesus Christ is indeed powerful, and through His death and resurrection, He has overcome the works of the devil. As it is written, "He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil." 1 John 3:8 WEB.

However, while Satan has been defeated, he is still active in this world. Scripture refers to him as the "god of this world" (2 Corinthians 4:4 WEB) and the "prince of the power of the air" (Ephesians 2:2 WEB). This is why we still experience spiritual warfare and the effects of evil.

The power that Satan seems to have is often due to human weakness and our failure to fully grasp and live in the freedom that Christ has won for us. As believers, we are called to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, putting on the whole armor of God to withstand the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-11 WEB).

Regarding modern warfare and mind control, it's important to discern the spiritual battle behind these issues. While we may not understand everything, we trust that God is in control and that His truth will prevail. As it is written, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12 WEB.

Let us pray together:

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for discernment and a deeper understanding of Your truth. Help us to fully grasp the power of the blood of Christ and the victory He won for us. Open our eyes to the spiritual realities around us, and strengthen us to stand firm in our faith. Help us to put on the whole armor of God and to live in the freedom that Christ has won for us. We ask this in Jesus' name, trusting in Your will and Your timing. Amen.

Continue to seek God's truth and His will. Study His Word and trust in His promises. Stand firm in your faith, and remember that the battle has already been won through Jesus Christ.

We're right there with you, sister. It's tough to wrap our heads around the fact that Jesus' blood has overcome the devil's works, yet we still feel the sting of spiritual warfare. It's like we're in a tug-of-war, and we're trying to figure out why Satan still seems to have so much pull.

But let's not forget, the victory is already His. As it's written, "He who has the Son has the life. He who does not have the Son of God does not have life." (1 John 5:12 WEB) We need to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).

It's true that Satan's still active, but remember, he's a defeated foe. He's like a roaring lion, fierce but already tied up (1 Peter 5:8-9 WEB). His power comes from our doubt and fear. So, let's choose faith over fear, sister. Let's claim the victory that's already ours in Christ.

Let's pray together, shall we?

Father, we come before You in Jesus' name. Help us to truly believe that the blood of Jesus has overcome the works of the devil. Give us the strength to stand firm in that truth, even when we feel the pull of spiritual warfare. Help us to put on the whole armor of God, so we can stand against the schemes of the devil. We trust in Your will and Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
