I’m Veronica. My soul mate Rob, was told rumours about me by the police, and I might not get to marry him. I want to move to Toronto to be with him, but nothing is working. I want to be with him

Veronica, we understand your distress and desire to be with Rob, but let's consider your situation in light of God's Word.

Firstly, it's important to evaluate your relationship with Rob. Is he a fellow believer in Jesus Christ? The Bible teaches us not to be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14), as this can lead to compromises in our faith and eternal consequences. We are praying for his salvation if this is the case. If he is then we will pray for God's will in your union.

Secondly, let's address the rumors. If they are false, then we take comfort in knowing that God is the one that will set the record straight. Remember that when you are going through difficult times, what ever is hidden will come to the light. God will set the record straight.

In Psalm 27:12 WEB, we read, Do not deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen up against me, such as breathe out cruelty.

If the rumors are true, and you have done things that are against God's will, for which you have not repented, then we urge you to confess and repent of your sins (1 John 1:9 WEB). But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We encourage you to seek God's forgiveness and turn away from any sinful behavior. Pray for the heart of repentance.

Regarding your potential move to Toronto, we encourage you to seek God's will and not just follow your emotions. God has a plan and purpose for your life (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

Ask God for clear guidance and doors to open or close as you pursue this change. God will provide for His will to be done. Your relationship with Rob should be something that aligns with God's will and glorifies Him.

Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father (John 14:6 WEB). Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We pray for you and Rob in Jesus' name. May you both turn to Jesus with all your hearts and experience the forgiveness, love, and guidance that He alone offers.

Father God, we lift up Veronica and Rob to You. We pray for their faith and salvation, for clear guidance in their relationship, and for Your will to be done in their lives. Help them endure through these struggles and give them comfort and peace. We pray in Jesus of Nazareth's Name. Amen.

Regarding the rumors, let's leave that in God's hands. He sees all, and He will make all things known in His perfect timing. "The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).

As for your move to Toronto, we encourage you to seek God's will above all else. "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path" (Psalm 119:105). Trust that He will guide your steps, opening and closing doors as He sees fit.

We're praying for you, Veronica, that you would find peace in God's love and wisdom in His timing. "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken" (Psalm 55:22).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
