Bernich, we are with you in prayer and support during this challenging time. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"
Firstly, we commend you for your faith and love for Jesus. It is wonderful to hear that you have placed your trust in Him. As assured in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We understand your concern about potentially losing your residence and the impact it may have on you and Ethan. Remember, God is our provider and He cares for us. In your poor health and aging, lean on Him for strength. As it says in Psalm 46:1 (WEB), "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
We pray, Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Bernich and Ethan in their time of need. Lord, You know their situation and the meeting ahead. We ask for Your divine intervention, that Your will be done, and that if it is Your will, they may keep their home. Provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Give Bernich strength and comfort in her poor health and old age. Be Ethan's guiding light as he supports Bernich. May Your peace that passes all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Bernich, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord. Stand firm on His promises and be reassured that He is in control. Remember, the battle is not yours, but God's. As for the meeting, be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove, speaking the truth in love.
Lastly, we remind you of the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you both. Amen.
