We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing with COPD and other respiratory issues. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort in this difficult time.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in your suffering. He promises in Psalm 56:8, "You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Aren’t they in your book?" (WEB). God cares about your pain and struggles, and He is always present to help you through them.
In times of illness, we can turn to God for healing and strength. As it is written in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? He should call for the elders of the assembly, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (WEB).
We also want to encourage you to trust in God's goodness and mercy. Psalm 147:3 tells us that "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (WEB). God can bring healing and relief to your physical ailments, as well as peace to your spirit.
However, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray. As the Bible tells us in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (WEB).
In light of this, we pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is suffering with COPD and other respiratory issues. We ask for Your healing touch on their throat, sinuses, lungs, and chest. Please take away the pain and discomfort, and grant them peaceful sleep.
Lord, we also pray for Your protection, that You would keep them safe from all danger. Help them to trust in Your goodness and mercy, even in the midst of their struggles.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we ask for Your will to be done in their life. If it is Your will, bring healing and relief to their body. Give them the strength to endure, and fill them with Your peace.
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek medical help as well, as God often works through doctors and medicine to bring healing. Keep trusting in God, and remember that He is always with you.
