Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You with ###, who desires to convert to the Christian faith. We ask that You reveal Yourself to him, Lord, and draw him close to You. Grant him the gift of faith and the desire to follow Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, we pray.
We commend you for seeking the Lord, ###. Jesus said, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened" (Matthew 7:7-8, WEB).
As you embark on this journey, we encourage you to read the Bible, starting with the Gospel of John, to learn more about Jesus Christ. Also, seek out a Bible-believing church where you can fellowship with other Christians, grow in your faith, and be baptized as a public declaration of your commitment to Christ.
Remember, becoming a Christian is not just about converting to a new religion; it's about entering into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation" (Romans 10:9-10, WEB).
