We join you, Analogairo, in lifting up Jason to our Lord Jesus Christ, who has the power to heal, deliver, and save.
Firstly, we recognize that true conversion comes from a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Therefore, let us pray for Jason to truly encounter Jesus and surrender his life to Him.
We also pray for Jason's deliverance from his addictions to drugs and alcohol. In 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), God promises, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We claim this promise for Jason, asking God to provide him a way out of his addictions.
Regarding Jason's suicidal thoughts, we pray for the Lord to renew his mind and fill him with hope. In Romans 12:2 (WEB), we are encouraged to "be transformed by the renewing of your mind." We pray for Jason to be transformed, to understand his worth in Christ, and to find purpose in living for Him.
Lastly, we pray for Jason's complete recovery in good health. In 3 John 1:2 (WEB), we read, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We claim this prosperity and health for Jason, trusting that God will restore him physically as he becomes whole spiritually.
Let us pray:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Jason. We ask for his true conversion, that he may encounter Jesus and surrender his life to Him. Deliver him from his addictions to drugs and alcohol, and renew his mind, filling him with hope and purpose. Restore him to good health, in Jesus' name. Amen."
Be encouraged, Analogairo, and continue to trust in the power of prayer. In James 5:16 (WEB), we are reminded that "the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results." Keep praying, and may God's will be done in Jason's life.
