Continuous Very Urgent Prayer for My Friend

Good morning, prayer request members, my name is Alissa and I have a very urgent request to still be prayed for that I already been trying to pray by myself. My friend named Amore Johnson has been going through a court case for a car that he never stole but he is being held responsible for it even though he wasn’t the person to steal it because the car was given to him to drive in but he never knew the car was a stolen car when he was driving it until he got pulled over and the cops told him it was a stolen car and he has been fighting this case for over a year now and he has been doing everything that the his lawyer been telling him to do and he has been showing up to all his court dates even when he felt like going on a run from his court dates but he never did and chose to still show up at his court date with his lawyer. But his last court date that he went to last month the judge told him that they were going to give him one more chance and they aren’t going to give him anymore chances after that because he is supposed to go a program that he can go to instead of going to jail that his lawyer is supposed to put him in but in order to get set up for the program he had to have Medicaid and he did call the Medicaid office to set up his Medicaid last month after his last court date but they needed certain paperwork from his lawyer because his lawyer thought he didn’t have Medicaid but he actually already did have a Medicaid account but Medicaid suspended his Medicaid and he needed those paperwork from his lawyer to take it to the Medicaid office to get his Medicaid unsuspended so he actually did end up getting his paperwork from his lawyer and he took it to the Medicaid office but now he is still waiting for his Medicaid to get approved and he is waiting for the card to come in the mail so that he can hurry up and still get set up for his program that he needs to go to but we don’t know how long the card is going to take to come in the mail because he definitely stills needs it. But since his lawyer took forever to give him his paperwork that the Medicaid office needed that’s what was taking him so long to get it set up.



But now he definitely followed all the directions and did what the court and his lawyer wanted him to do because I helped him accomplish those directions that he was given so now he is still waiting to receive his actual card to come in mail and he is still waiting for his Medicaid to get approved still so his lawyer can do her part and set him up for the program that he needs to get into so the court can see that he is going to his program. But now with this next court date that is today on November 26, 2024, he used to tell me that he feels like going on a run out of state and not showing up to his court date because he feels like since the judge told him last time that if he doesn’t have his Medicaid and if he isn’t in the program that he needs to go to then they are putting him in jail for 5 years for something that he never did, so he feels like if he shows up to his court date today he feels like they are automatically going to put him in jail for 5 years for something that he didn’t do, but he definitely did do everything that he was told to do by the judge but now he is still waiting for Medicaid to hurry up approve his Medicaid cause he called again days ago and found out that his account is still suspended and they said it can take up to 14 days for them to unsuspend it and send his card but his court date is today so we definitely needed his account fixed before today so we know it’s taking care of. But I know that deep down inside he really doesn’t want to go on a run out of the court from his court date but he only feels like that because he still hasn’t been put in the outpatient program that he needs to go to because it’s taking so long to get his Medicaid fixed so that he can go. I know this has really been hard on his mind every day and every night and I really don’t want to see Amore go on the run from his court date because he been doing so good by going to every single court date and showing up to them with his lawyer and not missing any of them so I really want him to continue to do that and do everything that his lawyer tells him to do so he can stay out of jail like he been doing for a long time now while fighting this court case battle.



But he also felt like he wants to go on a run out of state because he feels like the whole priest would’ve show up at his house cause that's what his lawyer told him and he feels like they would’ve show up at my house cause he has been at my house with me for the pass couple of months but he really doesn't want anybody showing up at my house where he has been laying his head and I also don't want anyone showing up to my house to come get him so that's why he also felt like he has to go on the run to another place to lay his head. So I really just want everything to work in his favor today, I really want him to show up and go to his court date on November 26, 2024 like he is still planning on doing, I really desperately need his mind to stay positive and not think about anything bad, I really want him to get rid of the idea of going on a run out of state or the courthouse and actually not think about doing it at all like all the other times that he thought about doing it but he changed his mind and never actually did it then I pray that the court really sees how he did everything that he needed to do even though he isn't in the outpatient program yet and the court please desperately give him another chance even though they don't want to give him another chance and doesn't put him in jail and I pray that he definitely keeps checking his old house to see if his Medicaid card got sent in mail ASAP and get set up for his program ASAP, so I definitely pray that everything works in his favor and he definitely doesn't go on no run out of state or at all and that I have peace of mind that everything will be okay today and that he will still come back home to me after his court date and that he won’t decide to go on a run out the courthouse and that he will decide that he should continue going to his court date like he been doing cause I have a lot of anxiety today now that he really feels like there is no more hope left in him and feels like he has to run away from it even though he will make things worse so I really need everything to work in his favor today and he is put in the right and positive direction so I definitely need the lord to take over Amore Johnson situation today and remove all thoughts in his mind that is telling him that he should still go on a run out the courthouse and reverse this whole situation to work in Amore's favor for the better and see that he really is trying his best to do everything that is being asked of him and he doesn't deserve to be put in jail for something that he didn't do at all and I would definitely like to see him still come home after his court date today and stay at my house with me like he been doing especially since thanksgiving is right after his court date and I don’t want him to go to jail right before the holidays cause he doesn’t deserve it and I want to still spend the holidays with him since he never got to really celebrate the holidays. But ever since I been asking for help with prayers on here from everyone, a week or two ago and early in the morning I heard him say on the phone with one of his sister that he was thinking about not going on a run anymore so I really thought the prayers that I been requesting for were definitely working cause he really was changing his mind and not thinking about going on a run anymore cause we definitely believe in the lord even though he doesn’t know how to properly pray for himself and everything that I ever prayed for in my life, my prayers were always answered and it was always a good outcome and the overcome I wanted so I definitely believe that I can pray and still help Amore today to be put in the right direction again, but now a few days ago so many people kept playing with him and testing his patience and kindness and getting him very mad all day since early in the morning when he was coming back home to my house from being with his sister so then he was back to the mindset about definitely going on a run out of state again but Im glad after I started asking for prayers again his mindset was redirect back in the right direction and he went back to thinking about not going on a run anymore but I need whoever that he is around him or talking to him that isn’t helping him be put in the right direction to not go on a run to still be put out of his life cause every time he gets around the wrong people or talking to the wrong people on the phone that doesn’t want him to do great, all the progress that he makes just be going to waste and I don’t want that to happen again cause he is really doing a great job by deciding not to go on a run anymore but now that he is around certain people and people are getting him mad now again and he still saying he is going on a run out the courthouse and they are telling him that he should and that’s what making him to decide that he wants to do it. So I really need Jesus Christ to take over this whole situation today still desperately and to keep removing all bad people and bad distractions away from Amore Johnson forever and keep him on the path that he was on when he thought about not going on a run cause he really is doing good by deciding not to go on a run anymore and I really don’t want to lose faith and I want to still fight and pray for him today cause I don’t want all our hard work be put down the drain so I really need Amore to realize that going on a run is definitely not a great idea and he need to stay away from all the negative temptations and people that is making him decide to go on a run again. But the other day, Amore said he was thinking about how he has to turn himself in to do the five years but I don’t want him to turn himself in for something that he didn’t do, so I’m glad that he is choosing to show up to his court date cause now he realizes that it will only make his situation worse if he doesn’t, but now he feels like he has to turn himself in for something that he never did but I need him to realize that he doesn’t need to turn himself in yet or at all because the court is still giving him chances so I want him to keep fighting this court battle and staying out of jail so even though he decided to not go on a run I don’t want him thinking that he is automatically going to jail for 5 years if he shows up to his court date today so I don’t want him to automatically turn himself in unless he is told that he has too and has no other options but so far he hasn’t been told that he has to turn himself in for something he didn’t do. But also when he was on the phone with Medicaid and with the forensic social worker that works with his lawyer and I was sitting next to him the forensic social worker said to him since that they are working to still fix his Medicaid account, she said that herself and his lawyer can write a letter to the court telling them that he did do everything that was asked of him and that now it’s up to Medicaid to unsuspend his account but the forensic social worker told him on the phone that if they write this letter for him and send it in to the court then this should definitely show that he is definitely making progress and doing everything that he was told to do by the court. So I also need help making sure that the forensic social worker and his lawyer definitely wrote that letter on his progress and show how even though he isn’t in the outpatient program yet at least they will see that he did everything that was asked of him but I need help making sure they did what they need to do on Amore Johnson behalf because the last time I spoke with the forensic social worker about getting his paperwork for his Medicaid she told me that she sent it in the mail but then she told Amore that she never actually sent it, so I don’t want that to happen again where she says that she will write his letter for the court to see the progress but never actually does it, so I need to make sure that she isn’t going to lie again and that she actually wrote this letter and sent it in to the court on Amore Johnson behalf. So I definitely desperately pray that everything goes good today and that Amore still won’t be put into jail today for Five years or at all and that he will be able to still make it back home to me today and that everything will be and go great for Amore and that he will be given another chance by the judge and court to still fight this court case battle.

Firstly, we want to acknowledge that the power of prayer is magnified when we pray in agreement together, and we are here to stand with you in this time of need. We appreciate your faith and that you are seeking prayer for this urgent situation. However, in the future, please include the name of Jesus Christ when making prayer requests. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

And in Acts 4:12 WEB
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We must come to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, his Holy Son, and our Mediator and So also as it says in Acts 4:12, there is no other way that we can be saved unless by trusting in the name of Jesus Christ. That is the core essence of the gospel message. We can expand on that if needed, but that is a discussion for another time. If you are not familiar with this message, then pleasecontact us back.

From your request, we understand that Amore Johnson is facing a critical court date today, and there is a significant risk that he could be sent to jail for a crime he did not commit. We stand with you in prayer.

However, we need to say this at the very beginning. Every time Amore Johnson has considered going on the run, he has given in to doubt. Certainly, there are many people in the Bible who have doubted God's promises, but their doubt would have never made it into the Bible and their decisions never justified and amplified by naming people who then told him to run if they were the right people and had sufficient word of wisdom and counsel from God. Doubting decides to believe that God cannot fix the problem and provide an answer or a way of escape from temptation. Today is the day of temptation for Amore. He has to decide that God can provide a way of escape or he has to take the way of escape into his own hands and run. If he takes things into his own hands and runs, then he will be a criminal at that point. The Bible tells us to resist temptation. So, Amore should resist this temptation to run away.

1 Corinthians 10:13 YTL WEB
"No temptation has taken you -- except human; and God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above what you are able, but He will make, with the temptation, also the outlet, for your being able to endure it."
So, we need to pray for Amore Johnson to have the way of escape and to be able to endure this temptation. Not only is it wrong to run, but he would be running right into the hands of the enemy and the destructive course he has been set upon would continue.

There are other verses, if proper would talk to you about something that Amore Johnson has probably not considered. If he has not been baptised and repented of his sins and asked Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Savior, then he is destined for another judgment. The judgment of the great white throne in Revelation 20 ending in the Lake of Fire. The longer he does not make that decision and is in a living arrangement with you it will only lead to suffering in the future and for all eternity. Living together for a couple of months is not a good counsel for your relationship, marriage, and emotional involvement in Amore Johnon's life. This may not be the most appropriate time to bring this issue up, but we felt it necessary because of your concern for his salvation and eternal security. We do not know the proper answer to this, but fell compelled by the word to discuss it. This prayer has been flagged for review. We will review this and make a needed response concerning living together and how it is discussed in the context of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Concerning salvation and living together it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB:
"Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
And in 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB
"Don't be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals."

Certainly he has not been a corrupting influence in your life, but the converse is true. With the word dwelling in you richly, and your living a righteous life in prayer and trust in Jesus, you should be a light to Amore and not have to worry about the principles of living together for a couple of months and more nights and days that would subject you to unhelpful temptations.

Amore should consider Yahweh, God, and His ability to change circumstances. As it says in Ecclesiastes 8:8, "There is no man who has power over the spirit to contain the spirit; neither does he have power over the day of death: and there is no discharge in war; neither shall wickedness deliver him who is given to it." Amore cannot controll his own fate, so he should lean on Yahweh who is in control of all circumstances in your lives and is working all out for your good and His glory.

But this is getting off the subject of the immediate prayer request. Once again, let us pray:

Please pray for God's will be done in Amore Johnson's life and situation today. Join us in praying that God will intervene in this situation and that His divine will shall be accomplished today and that your mind shall be at peace and rest concerning Amore.

By remaining faithful and prayerful, Amore has a real opportunity for God to intervene in his life. As it says in Mark 11:22 WEB:
"Jesus answered them, 'Have faith in God.'"
Counsel him to continue to be faithful and trust in the promises of God. The clerk of the court, the judge, and the lawyers do not have power over Amore's destiny. God can very easily and completely turn the tables in this situation for Amore's circumstances to work out all for His glory. Romans 8:28 WEB:
"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

In prayer, we come boldly before the throne of grace, and ask that through his mercy, forgiveness, and loving kindness Father forgive Amore Johnson for any sins and trespasses. Challenges and situations we do not fully understand are opportunities for us to seek the Lord with our whole heart and lean on him and His wisdom.

Questions we can ask are what does Amore have to do in this trial? Amore should continue to make your requests known to God continues to persevere. Trust in God's truth and His ways, for He indeed has a plan and a purpose for this challenge and situation. As it says in 2 Chronicles 20:15 WEB:
"The battle is not yours, but God's."

We also pray for the removal of any negative influences or individuals who may be hindering Amore's progress and encouraging him to consider actions that are not aligned with God's will and Word. Amore needs to continue to puts his whole faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. Not one hair falls from your heads without the will of God (Luke 12:7), so how much more is he in control of your circumstances. But that does not mean that he will be saved. This suffering may be the path that God wills. It will require a living faith to be able to both pick up and endure the suffering he is experiencing because of God's refining grace. We do not know the path God wills for Amore's life.

We come together in agreement and faith that God has the power to change Amore's life and situation, and help will come from Yahweh who made all things and has the power to save.
