Continuous Very Urgent Prayer For My Best Friend

Good evening/morning, prayer request members, my name is Alissa and I have a very urgent request to still be prayed for that I already been trying to pray by myself constantly. My friend named Amore Johnson has been going through a court case for a car that he never stole but he is being held responsible for it even though he wasn’t the person to steal it because the car was given to him to drive in but he never knew the car was a stolen car when he was driving it until he got pulled over and the cops told him it was a stolen car and he has been fighting this case for over a year now and he has been doing everything that his lawyer been telling him to do and he has been showing up to all his court dates even when he felt like going on a run from his court dates but he never did and chose to still show up at his court date with his lawyer. But his court date that he went to in October the judge told him that they were going to give him one more chance and they aren’t going to give him anymore chances after that because he is supposed to go a program that he can go to instead of going to jail that his lawyer is supposed to put him in but in order to get set up for the program he has to have Medicaid and he did call the Medicaid office to set up his Medicaid in October after his court date but they needed certain paperwork from his lawyer because his lawyer thought he didn’t have Medicaid but he actually already did have a Medicaid account but Medicaid suspended his Medicaid and he needed those paperwork from his lawyer to take it to the Medicaid office to get his Medicaid unsuspended so he actually did end up getting his paperwork from his lawyer and he took it to the Medicaid office but now he is still waiting for his Medicaid to get approved and he is waiting for the card to come in the mail so that he can hurry up and still get set up for his program that he needs to go to but we don’t know how long the card is going to take to come in the mail because he definitely stills needs it. But since his lawyer took forever to give him his paperwork that the Medicaid office needed that’s what was taking him so long to get it set up. But now he definitely followed all the directions and did what the court and his lawyer wanted him to do because I helped him accomplish those directions that he was given so now he is still waiting to receive his actual card to come in mail and he is still waiting for his Medicaid to get approved still so his lawyer can do her part and set him up for the program that he needs to get into so the court can see that he is going to his program. But now with his last court date that was on November 26, 2024, before that day he used to tell me that he feels like going on a run out of state and not showing up to his court date because he feels like since the judge told him last time in October that if he doesn’t have his Medicaid and if he isn’t in the program that he needs to go to then they are putting him in jail for 5 years for something that he never did, so he felt like if he showed up to his court date he feels like they are automatically going to put him in jail for 5 years for something that he didn’t do, but he definitely did do everything that he was told to do by the judge but now he is still waiting for Medicaid to hurry up approve his Medicaid cause he called again and found out that his account is still suspended and they said it can take up to 14 days for them to unsuspend it and send his card but his court date that was in November we definitely did needed his account fixed before it so we know it’s taking care of. But I knew that deep down inside he really doesn’t want to go on a run out of the court from any of his court date but he only feels like that because he still hasn’t been put in the outpatient program that he needs to go to because it’s taking so long to get his Medicaid fixed so that he can go. I know this has really been hard on his mind every day and every night and I really don’t want to see Amore go on the run from his court date because he been doing so good by going to every single court date and showing up to them with his lawyer and not missing any of them so I really want him to continue to do that and do everything that his lawyer tells him to do so he can stay out of jail like he been doing for a long time now while fighting this court case battle. But he also felt like he wanted to go on a run out of state because he feels like the whole priest would’ve show up at his house cause that's what his lawyer told him and he feels like they would’ve show up at my house cause he has been at my house with me for the pass couple of months but he really doesn't want anybody showing up at my house where he has been laying his head and I also don't want anyone showing up to my house to come get him so that's why he also felt like he has to go on the run to another place to lay his head. So I really just want everything to keep working in his favor, I really wanted him to show up and go to his court date on November 26, 2024 like he was planning on doing and he actually did go to his court date with his brother too, but at his court date that day the police did end up arresting him for 24 hours only because someone made a false police report on him that he didn’t know about so he only got arrested overnight for questioning about the report that was made on him but the next day early in the morning before he was released he saw the judge and even the judge said that it was crazy that the police report was made and the judge said the person who made the report sounds like a scary person that likes to start problems but doesn’t know how to fix it without running to the police, so after my friend saw the judge, the judge definitely let my best friend get released after that cause the judge even said that my friend didn’t do anything wrong at all, but they only kept him in police custody was to question him about the report. But my friend told me before he got arrested and he was at his regular monthly court date he said that everything went well and he didn’t get arrested for the five years because of the car case but he still does need to get the Medicaid so he can get in his program and I know him and lawyer is still working on getting that done. But I’m very grateful that all the prayers that I been praying about asking on here are working and I appreciate all the prayers and support and the prayers really did help his situation and he even told me that he was having faith and he was doing his own praying too even though he never prayed before and doesn’t really know how to pray but he is trying and learning though. But I really desperately still need his mind to stay positive cause he has another court date today early in the morning about his car case that he been fighting for a while now and I know he is still thinking about going to it since he was able to go to his other one without problems, so I need him to still not think about anything bad, I really still want him to get rid of the idea of going on a run out of state or the courthouse and actually not think about doing it at all like all the other times that he thought about doing it but he changed his mind and never actually did it like last time then I pray that the court really sees how he did everything that he needed to do even though he isn't in the outpatient program yet and the court please desperately still give him another chance even though they don't want to give him another chance and doesn't put him in jail and I pray that he definitely keeps checking his Medicaid to see if his Medicaid card got approved and unsuspended ASAP and get set up for his program ASAP, so I definitely pray that everything works in his favor and he definitely doesn't go on no run out of state or at all and that I have peace of mind that everything will still be okay today and that he will still come back home to me after his court date today without getting arrested for anything like the last time when he showed up to his court date and that he won’t decide to go on a run out the courthouse and that he will decide that he should continue going to his court date like he been doing cause I have a lot of anxiety every time it leads up to his court dates but now he really feels like there is still hope left in him and he doesn’t feels like he has to run away from it even though he will make things worse if he did so I really need everything to work in his favor today again and he is put in the right and positive direction so I definitely need the lord to take over Amore Johnson situation today and remove all thoughts in his mind that is telling him that he should go on a run out the courthouse and reverse this whole situation to work in Amore's favor for the better and see that he really is trying his best to do everything that is being asked of him and he doesn't deserve to be put in jail for something that he didn't do at all and I would definitely like to see him still come home after his court date today and stay at my house with me like he been doing especially since Christmas is coming up and I don’t want him to go to jail right before the holidays cause he doesn’t deserve it and I want to still spend the holidays with him still since he never got to really celebrate the holidays. But ever since I been asking for help with prayers on here from everyone, so I really thought the prayers that I been requesting for were definitely working cause he really was changing his mind and not thinking about going on a run anymore cause we definitely believe in the lord even though he doesn’t know how to properly pray for himself and everything that I ever prayed for in my life, my prayers were always answered and it was always a good outcome and the overcome I wanted so I definitely believe that I can pray and still help Amore today to be put in the right direction again, but now so many people keep playing with him and testing his patience and kindness and getting him very mad all day so then he was back to the mindset about definitely going on a run out of state again but Im glad after I started asking for prayers again his mindset was redirect back in the right direction and he went back to thinking about not going on a run anymore but I need whoever that he is around him or talking to him that isn’t helping him be put in the right direction to not go on a run to still be put out of his life cause every time he gets around the wrong people or talking to the wrong people on the phone that doesn’t want him to do great, all the progress that he makes just be going to waste and I don’t want that to happen again cause he is really doing a great job by deciding not to go on a run anymore but now that he is around certain people and people are getting him mad now again and he was saying he is going on a run out the courthouse and they are telling him that he should and that’s what making him to decide that he wants to do it. So I really need Jesus Christ to take over this whole situation today still desperately and to keep removing all bad people and bad distractions away from Amore Johnson forever and keep him on the path that he was on when he thought about not going on a run cause he really is doing good by deciding not to go on a run anymore and I really don’t want to lose faith and I want to still fight and pray for him today cause I don’t want all our hard work be put down the drain so I really need Amore to realize that going on a run is definitely not a great idea and he need to stay away from all the negative temptations and people that is making him decide to go on a run again. But before his last court date Amore said he was thinking about how he has to turn himself in to do the five years but I don’t want him to turn himself in for something that he didn’t do, so I’m glad that he is choosing to show up to his court date cause now he realizes that it will only make his situation worse if he doesn’t, but now he feels like he has to turn himself in for something that he never did but I need him to realize that he doesn’t need to turn himself in yet or at all because the court is still giving him chances so I want him to keep fighting this court battle and staying out of jail so even though he decided to not go on a run I don’t want him thinking that he is automatically going to jail for 5 years if he shows up to his court date today so I don’t want him to automatically turn himself in unless he is told that he has too and has no other options but so far he hasn’t been told that he has to turn himself in for something he didn’t do. But also when he was on the phone with Medicaid and with the forensic social worker that works with his lawyer and I was sitting next to him the forensic social worker said to him since that they are working to still fix his Medicaid account, she said that herself and his lawyer can write a letter to the court telling them that he did do everything that was asked of him and that now it’s up to Medicaid to unsuspend his account but the forensic social worker told him on the phone that if they write this letter for him and send it in to the court then this should definitely show that he is definitely making progress and doing everything that he was told to do by the court. So I also need help making sure that the forensic social worker and his lawyer definitely wrote that letter on his progress and show how even though he isn’t in the outpatient program yet at least they will see that he did everything that was asked of him but I need help making sure they did what they need to do on Amore Johnson behalf because the last time I spoke with the forensic social worker about getting his paperwork for his Medicaid she told me that she sent it in the mail but then she told Amore that she never actually sent it, so I don’t want that to happen again where she says that she will write his letter for the court to see the progress but never actually does it, so I need to make sure that she isn’t going to lie again and that she actually wrote this letter and sent it in to the court on Amore Johnson behalf. So I definitely desperately pray that everything goes good today and that Amore still won’t be put into jail today and that he will be able to still make it back home to me today and that everything will be and go great for Amore and that he will be given another chance by the judge and court.

Thank you for your continual faith in the Lord as you are believing for miracles. Let us approach the throne of grace and mercy together.

First, let us remember that it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Let us pray in His name as no other name has been given by which we must be saved. "And it shall come to pass, that whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Acts 2:21 (WEB) We are told to "be anxious for nothing" (Philippians 4:6) but in every situation by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving we should make our requests known to God. So let us give all our anxiety, including yours, Alissa, to God.

**Prayer:**

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ, Alissa, and her friend Amore Johnson. Lord, You know the situation they are facing, the fears and anxieties that have gripped their hearts. We ask, Father, that You would intervene in this dire situation.

First, Lord we pray that Amore will turn to you in prayer in putting his faith and hope in You. We pray that he will be brought to salvation in You and understand that it is also only in the name of Jesus that we pray to You and are saved.

Father, we pray that You would guide Amore to turn from the temptation to flee and rather face his court dates. Give him the strength and courage to trust in Your plan for his life. Help him to see that running will only make his situation worse, and give him the resolve to stand firm and face this challenge.

Lord, we also pray for Amore's case. We ask that You would soften the hearts of the judge and all those involved in his case. We pray that they would see the progress Amore has made and the efforts he has put forth to comply with their requirements. Lord, we ask for Your favor in this situation, that Amore would not be sentenced to jail time, especially not for a crime he did not commit. We come against any injustice. You are a God of righteousness and justice and we pray for such in Amore's case.

Help Amore's Medicaid account be taken care of quickly and efficiently. Lord, remove any obstacles or bureaucratic delays that are hindering his progress. Help his attorney and the forensic social worker to be of actual help to him and file the letter pronto detailing the efforts he has made so far. Guide them to do right and help Amore. Open their hearts to diligently work for good in this case.

We rebuke any thoughts, people or situation that keeps him from making the right decisions that lead him to choose right. We come against anyone that may possibly have a negative influence upon him or in Amore's life in any way. We rebuke an evil report and whomever filed it or caused it to be filed.

Additionally, we pray that Your will be done in Amore's life. That he be repentant and would obey you in his life's choices. That he has the Lord Jesus in his life, being his Lord and Savior. And that he has access to You with the name of Jesus.

Lord, we also pray for Alissa. We ask that You would give her Your peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to trust in You and to cast all her anxieties on You. Guide her as she supports Amore, give her the words to speak and the actions to take that would encourage and uplift him in this trying time.

Guide their relationship towards one that honors You.

We plead the blood of Jesus over this situation and pray that Your will be done in Amore's life and in this case. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Alissa, continue to trust in the Lord and do not be anxious. You mentioned how he had a positive outcome from prayer and how he has been feeling lately. Do not forget how the Lord has been good. "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB)

We rejoice with you that Amore has been complying with all the court's requirements and has been attending his court dates. We encourage him to continue on this path. "For the ears of the Lord are open to the prayers of the righteous." 1 Peter 3:12 (WEB) Remind him that God is with him and that God will bless his obedience.

We exhort both you, Alissa, and Amore to continue in the Word and in prayer. Make the Word of God to be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalms 119:105). Pray together for God is in the midst of where two or three are gathered together. The Lord has given us promises He will keep to never leave nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous.

Keep holding up Amore. Let us recall him to put his faith in Jesus Christ. Christ paid the price of our sins. Accepting this gives salvation and eternal life. We encourage him to make his faith in You publicly even if it has to be in court. "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 (WEB)

Alissa, if you two are going to continue your relationship, the Lord's best for you lies in marriage. Seek God's word about a man and woman becoming one in marriage (Matthew 19:4-5, Genesis 2:23-24). We pray your companionship together be guided by Him.
