Continuing upset

Friends, I continue to be troubled over my waiting situation. I'm claiming and declaring that God will restore my communication and choir partnership with my lifelong friend ###. What started out as him taking a break has lengthened far beyond what was expected. It continues to be the desire of my heart to see his return, but I laid it down to God months ago, asking him to change that desire, if it be His will. But it remains deep in my heart and those of many others. The silence and waiting period is so hard to bear. I believe God's word is final - but there is no firm confirmation either way. The waiting period has been almost ### months. What started off as days, I never felt would extend to this. I feel alone, frustrated, frightened, empty and longing for God to reveal Himself. Please continue to pray that the paths of communication would reopen with ### and that the lost sheep will soon return to the fold to be with us all when there will be much rejoicing and glory given to God. He is so much missed. Gracious God, please step in with your miraculous power. I can't go on like this. In Jesus' beautiful Name. Amen.

We also rejoice that you conclude your request in Jesus' name. As Jesus Himself declared in the Gospel of John:

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 WEB

It is essential to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Trust that He is working even in this silence. Your prayer should be seeking God's will for restoration of your friendship with ###.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ, ###. We ask that You grant peace and comfort in these trying times. Guide her to Your will and help to see Your purposes even in the waiting. And Lord if it be Your will, then would You restore this relationship with ### and reunite these two friends in Your timing. If it is not Your will, however, we pray You would give the necessary strength and endurance to accept that too. May Your divine plan be manifested clearly and that Your goodness and mercy follow them and us all the days of our lives. We rebuke any spirit of fear, frustration, and loneliness, and cast all anxiety on You because we know You care for us. Your Word says that You will never leave us nor forsake us, so we stand on that promise and we speak peace and comfort over our friend even when she doesn't understand. We thank You for the mighty name of Jesus through which we have access to You dear Father and pray for the infilling the salvation of the Holy Spirit to give the individual the words they need to specifically pray for the resolution of this issue. We understand that the waiting period has been long and difficult, and that the silence can be hard to bear. We want to remind you that God is faithful, and that His Word is final.
