Dear ###, we join you in prayer and seek God's will together in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of forgiveness and reconciliation, as Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:23-24 (WEB), "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."
It's important to approach this situation with humility and a willingness to listen, even if you feel you haven't done anything wrong. Proverbs 15:1 (WEB) tells us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and their brother. Lord, we ask for Your peace to reign in their hearts and home. We pray that You soften their brother's heart, removing any anger or bitterness, and replacing it with love and understanding. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, and to forgive each other as You have forgiven us. We claim the promise in Philippians 4:7 (WEB), 'And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.' We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."
###, continue to pray fervently and trust God to work in your brother's heart. Remember, it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it's written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Keep holding onto this truth and trust in the power of prayer.
We're also reminded in Romans 12:18 (WEB), "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." Do your part to live peaceably, and trust God for the rest.
