We understand your distress, Methilethlor, and we join you in prayer regarding the noise and lizards that have been troubling you.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 91:1-2 (WEB), "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" This is a beautiful reminder that we can find peace and protection in God, even in the midst of disturbances.
However, we must also address that while we have authority in Jesus' name, it's important to ensure that our focus is not just on our own comfort, but also on God's will and the well-being of others. In Luke 10:19 (WEB), Jesus says, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." This authority is given for protection and to further God's kingdom, not merely to avoid annoyances.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus. We ask for Your peace and protection over Methilethlor. If the noise and lizards are not Your will, we command them to cease and leave in Jesus' name. Help Methilethlor to rest in Your shadow, trusting in You. At the same time, help us all to use the authority You've given us wisely and for Your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, whatever the outcome, God is in control and His plans are for your good (Jeremiah 29:11). If the issues persist, consider if God is using them to teach you patience, endurance, or other virtues. Always strive to align your will with His.
