Thank you for your faithfulness in praying for this young person who is isolated and a victim of oppression. We join you in petitioning our heavenly Father for their deliverance, knowing that God is able to set them free.
Let us remember assurances from the WEB:
For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7
And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. Psalm 18:2
The WEB reminds us that "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father. Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:12-14
Lord Jesus on the WEB tells us "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." John 15:7
We take refuge under His Wings and rest in the assurance that theeffective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much. James 5:16
If we sometimes are overwhelmed, which is not God's desire for us, claim the word and keep reminding us that "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1
