Continued prayers requested

I’d posted this request as anonymous early I was in such a hurry to request prayers I wasn’t logged in. Asking for additional prayers for adult son who has been vomiting on and off all day and can’t keep many fluids down. It may be food poisoning from something he ate and I have talked to the advice nurse who said to continue to monitor to see if he can keep any fluids down. He’s got cramping in his stomach and feels awful. As a parent, we would gladly take on the sickness for our kids so please pray for my own discernment and for healing for him. He had just been laid off from his long-term job and then was sick with throat issues last week. He says I just want to be healthy.

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of ### and her adult son. We lift up their prayer request for her son who has been experiencing vomiting and stomach cramps, possibly due to food poisoning. Lord, we ask for your healing touch upon him. We pray that you would bring relief to his symptoms and restore his health completely.

Father, we also ask for your guidance and discernment for ### as she cares for her son. Give her wisdom in monitoring his condition and making the right decisions regarding his health. Comfort her heart and give her peace during this challenging time.

We acknowledge, Lord, that you are the ultimate healer and provider. We trust in your perfect plan and timing for our lives. We pray for restoration and new opportunities for ###'s son, especially after being laid off from his job. May you open doors for him and grant him good health so that he can pursue his dreams and aspirations.

I’m sorry to hear about your son’s health condition, ###. I just said a prayer for him. May the Lord touch him with His healing hand, give him the relief he needs and surround him and your family with His peace. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth." (Psalm 145: 18).

We just got back from urgent care and they think it is a severe case of food poisoning. Dr didn’t think it was a blockage with the symptoms he has. He was feeling better for a bit but the vomiting/retching started up again, has now stopped. Was given anti-nausea meds which I have a call in to dr as I think they may have been purged when he got sick. Was advised to go to ER if he can’t keep liquids down so am asking for prayers that his stomach would finally settle down. Prayers for peace to settle down his anxiety, as well so that he can rest. Thank you in advance for any prayers.
