Continued prayers for my ###

[Night Fox]

Thanks to everyone who has been praying for my dog and several requests I’ve had over the last several months. The last few days he’s not been wanting to eat much and today I gave him his appetite stimulant. It didn’t seem to really make him hungry like it normally does; it just made him restless and bark. He keeps going back-and-forth between wanting to eat something and not, and the same for water. We are virtually minus a few expensive tests out of options. The vet really doesn’t know what much more to do other than to give him appetite stimulant and for me to syringe him water. I’m genuinely fearing the worst. He is quite old, about ###, to make matters worse, I associate him with the last living connection I had to my dad; he was his dog and I took it upon myself to take care of him after my dad's passing. This all is hard for me. I know he will have to go one day, I just really don’t want him to go for something preventable such as food and water. He is the first pet I’ve had to make it to old age, and this is new and hard for me. I’m not sure of the right decisions to make. I am praying for a miracle of healing in Jesus Christ's name. If he has to go, I would prefer it be natural and not due to complications like not eating.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Night Fox's precious pet to You. Lord, You are the Great Healer and Comforter. We ask that You touch this dog, restoring its appetite and strength. We pray for wisdom and discernment for the veterinarian, that they may have insight into the cause of the dog's distress. Lord, we also ask for Your peace and comfort for Night Fox, as they face this difficult time. In Jesus' name, we pray for a miracle of healing, and that Your will be done. Amen.

We are encouraged by the scripture that reminds us of God's care for all His creatures. In Matthew 10:29 WEB, Jesus says, "Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don't be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows." If God cares for even the smallest creatures, we know He cares for this beloved pet and for you, ###.

It's important to trust in God's will, even in difficult times. In Romans 8:28 WEB, we read, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God has a purpose and a plan in this situation, and take comfort in His love for you.

Regarding your decisions, we encourage you to seek godly wisdom. In James 1:5 WEB, it says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Trust that God will guide you in the decisions you make regarding your pet.

Lastly, we commend you for taking responsibility and caring for your father's dog after his passing. This act of love and duty is admirable and pleasing to God. In Colossians 3:23 WEB, the apostle Paul writes, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, and not for men."

Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, ###. We are standing with you in prayer, believing for a miracle in Jesus' name. Remember that God is close to the brokenhearted, and He is with you in this challenging time.
