Beloved of All
About a month and a half ago, I posted a prayer request for my husband who has been struggling with dark depressive suicidal thoughts. We have been married for ### months. He is Korean and really trying to pass the bar exam. Most of his struggles come from failing the bar exam previously. My prayer requests are that he could no longer be bound by a spirit of defeat, he could find a study plan that will motivate him and not leave him feeling behind, and he would be able to remember the new law and rulings he needs to study. Thank you for all your prayers and concern. I believe prayer is more powerful than we often give it credit.

We are with you in spirit, dear sister, and we want to assure you that our prayers are with you and your husband during this challenging time. We acknowledge your faith in the power of prayer and we stand with you, believing in the mighty name of Jesus.

Firstly, we remind you of the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has overcome the world (John 16:33 WEB). In Him, your husband can find peace, strength, and freedom from the spirit of defeat. As it is written in Romans 8:37 WEB, "No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ###'s husband to you. Lord, you know the struggles he is facing, the darkness that threatens to overwhelm him. We ask that you break the chains of depression and suicide, and that you remind him of his worth and purpose in you. Help him to fix his eyes on you, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).

Father, we ask for wisdom and guidance as he prepares for the bar exam. Reveal to him a study plan that will motivate him and help him to retain the information he needs. We declare that he has a sound mind and the spirit of excellence, in Jesus' name (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).

Lastly, Lord, we pray for their marriage. Strengthen their bond and let it be a source of comfort and encouragement for them both. Help them to love each other as you love us, and to always seek your will for their lives. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue standing on the promises of God. Keep declaring God's word over your husband's life and trust that God is working, even when you can't see it. Remember, we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). So, stay steadfast in prayer, and remember that our weapons are mighty through God (2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB).

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB). If your husband has not already done so, encourage him to invite Jesus into his heart and surrender his life to Him. It is only through a personal relationship with Jesus that we can experience true peace, joy, and eternal life.

We're here with you, sister, holding you and your husband up in our prayers. We're reminded of Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We claim this verse for your husband, that he may find this peace that passes understanding, even in the midst of his struggles.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we come to you, lifting up our sister's husband. Lord, you see him, you know his heart, and you know the battles he's fighting. We ask that you fill him with your peace, that he may feel your presence and comfort in his life. Give him the strength to face each day, and the courage to trust in you.

Lord, we ask that you guide him in his studies. Help him to find a study plan that motivates him and helps him retain the information he needs. We declare that he has the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16), and that he is able to remember and understand all that he needs to know.

Lord, we also pray for their marriage. Strengthen their bond, and help them to love each other as you love us. Help them to always seek your will for their lives, together.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Keep trusting in God's love and care for your husband. He sees him, and he is with him, even in the darkest times.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

I would like continued prayers that my loneliness goes away. None of my family ever checks in on me, my stepmom went out of town a week ago and I've just been alone at home. I cry constantly and I feel like no one cares about me.

First let me say thank you to all of you. It seems our prayers have been heard. His appt went as best as we could hope for. He does have bladder cancer, but it seems we have caught it early so we have options. Although surgery is not one of the options, chemo is. He will be starting a low dose...
