We join with you in fervent prayer for your adult children, Welall. Let us align our hearts with God's will and seek His divine intervention in their lives.
Firstly, we pray for Alexandra. We stand against the deceptions of the New Age and the use of tarot cards, which are not from God. As it is written in 1 John 4:1, "Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." We pray that God will remove the scales from her eyes, just as He did with Paul in Acts 9:18, "Immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he received his sight at once. He arose and was baptized." We pray that Alexandra will repent, turn to Jesus, and have His thoughts. May she be transformed by the renewing of her mind, as Romans 12:2 encourages us.
For Johnny, we pray that his new business in digital media will prosper. We claim God's promise in Psalm 1:3, "He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper." We also pray for his job at FedEx, that God's will be done, whether that means a promotion to full-time or a new opportunity altogether. Trust in God's timing, for He makes all things beautiful in His time (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
For your son-in-law Cody, we pray that he will find a career in a new field where he can grow and make a better income with benefits. We believe that God has good plans for him, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that God will open the right doors for him and equip him with the skills and knowledge he needs to succeed.
Lastly, we understand your frustration, but remember the words of Jesus in Luke 18:1, where He tells the parable of the persistent widow to teach us that we "must always pray and not give up." Trust that God hears your prayers and that He is working in their lives, even if you can't see it yet.
Let us pray together:
"Father, in Jesus' name, we lift up Alexandra, Johnny, and Cody to You. We pray that You will draw Alexandra to Yourself, that she will repent and turn to Jesus. We pray for prosperity in Johnny's business and Your will in his job. We pray for a new career path for Cody. Help Welall to trust in Your timing and Your goodness. Give them all peace, hope, and faith in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
