Continued prayers for lost love

My ex girlfriend has suffered all her life from mental illness. I have been the only person who has ever been able to reach her and make a difference. She couldn’t even look at herself in the mirror without a panic attack before meeting me. We both prayed to meet each other before we ever knew one another. We used to call each other family.

It happened very fast, but she moved back home to her dad who is so problematic in her life she used to walk around the streets just to get away from him. Her and I had such a good time before she left she told me she didn’t want to go but her dad was putting pressure on her.

Since then, she’s gotten on antidepressants for two days before stopping, told me she wanted to look for drugs, and that she has been suicidal.

Please pray that the Lord might heal her and also that we may be reunited. I have always been able to reach her and help her to calm down and feel safe. It breaks my heart knowing she is going down the same road she did before I met her.

I have never prayed for anything harder or wanted anything more.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up ###'s ex-girlfriend who has endured so much pain and suffering due to mental illness. Lord, Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18 that "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." We ask that You draw near to her now, bringing Your healing and comfort.

Father, we know that You are the Great Physician. In Jeremiah 30:17, You promised, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord." We pray for Your divine intervention in her life, that she may find the strength to face her struggles and the courage to seek the help she needs. We ask that You guide her away from harmful influences and thoughts, and instead fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we also lift up ###, who has been a source of support and love for her. We ask that You give ### the strength and wisdom to continue being a light in her life. If it is Your will, we pray for their reunion, so that they may continue to support each other and grow together in Your love. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths." Guide them both, Lord, and make their paths straight according to Your perfect plan.

We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy, Lord. We believe that You can bring restoration and healing to this situation. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through their lives.

Thank you, thank is truly good advice. Very similar to what a priest told me. To pray for the grace of discernment.

My prayers have been answered in pretty sure! I made a separate post about it.

We are talking again now and I’m going to stay faithful to ### throughout her healing process. Hopefully in the end we can be together again. For now I’m just grateful that we can be there for each other. I’m so very thankful for the peace that brings me, and I’m praying to be able handle this opportunity the best way I can.
