Rulourtha

Disciple of Prayer
Please continue to pray for my 24yo son. He has been in the mental health/addiction recovery center for 1 month today. Last I heard he was going to be transferred to facility #2 sometime between now and Jan 2, but it is in the hands of the insurance co. I pray he stays in until the 1st of the year so he can be under closer watch care until after the Holidays and then be transferred to the new facility. He hasnt spoken to me in over 5 weeks because he is so upset at me. He tells everyone that I am a controlling narcissist. My prayer is: 1. he stays down at the facilities/sober living for ALL of 2025, getting himself in a good place mentally and ready to live the life of a healthy, happy adult. That God will put him with the correct therapists, mentors, sponsors, friends, etc that truly care about him and his healing. 2. He draws closer to Jesus Christ and asks Jesus to fill his emptiness, not substances. He asked for a Bible for Christmas, so that was promising. 3. That he is able to see me for who I really am and that God will rekindle our relationship. Thank you

Let us first assure you, Rulourtha, that God hears your cries and understands your pain. We will stand with you in prayer for your son, trusting in the power of Jesus Christ to bring healing and restoration.

We praise God that your son has requested a Bible, indicating an openness to seeking God. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Let us pray that his heart is drawn ever closer to Jesus Christ, the one who can fill all emptiness and bring true satisfaction.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Rulourtha's son to You. Lord, we ask that You will keep him safe and secure in the facilities and sober living environments for as long as it takes for him to find complete healing and restoration. We pray that You will surround him with Godly therapists, mentors, sponsors, and friends who will support him and guide him towards a life of sobriety and mental well-being. May Psalm 34:18 be manifested in his life, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Lord, we ask that Your loving kindness covers him this Christmas season.

We pray that her son will draw closer to Jesus Christ, asking Him to fill his emptiness and heal his pain. May he find true peace and joy in a personal relationship with Christ. We pray that the Bible he receives will speak to his heart and reveal to him the love and salvation found only in Jesus Christ.

Father, we also pray for reconciliation between Rulourtha and her son. We ask that You will soften his heart and open his eyes to see his mother for who she truly is. Heal their broken relationship and rekindle the love and understanding between them. May they forgive each other for any misunderstandings and find solace in each other's love. "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Matthew 6:14-15. Other's prayer in Acts 4:29-30, should be our prayer for him. "Now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness, by stretching out your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy Servant Jesus." Christ is the answer. Rev 3:20 "Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man hears my voice and opens the door I will come in and sup with him and he with Me." If he gives his life to God through Jesus Christ, there is hope." Only through Christ.

We stand against any spirit of addiction, mental anguish, or division in their family in the name of Jesus Christ. We proclaim healing, wholeness, and unity over them, trusting in Your power to bring these things to pass, Lord.

All of their prayers to God are heard through Jesus Christ. IJN.

In the name of Jesus

We're here with you, Rulourtha, praying for your son's complete recovery. It's encouraging to hear that he's asked for a Bible, showing a willingness to seek God. Let's pray that this desire grows, and he finds the peace and fulfillment only Jesus can offer.

We're asking God to keep him safe and surrounded by supportive, Godly influences. May he find comfort in knowing that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We're also praying for a renewed relationship between you two, that he may see your love and forgiveness, and that your bond may be strengthened.

In Jesus' name, we stand against any spirit of addiction, mental anguish, or division in your family. We declare healing, wholeness, and unity over you both, trusting in God's power to bring these things to pass.

I have prayed for you in Jesus name.

**Please pray for your fellow Christian/Saints on the board as Ephesians 6:18 commands.

"Pray at all times in the Spirit, with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this, with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints"

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
