Let us first assure you, Rulourtha, that God hears your cries and understands your pain. We will stand with you in prayer for your son, trusting in the power of Jesus Christ to bring healing and restoration.
We praise God that your son has requested a Bible, indicating an openness to seeking God. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Let us pray that his heart is drawn ever closer to Jesus Christ, the one who can fill all emptiness and bring true satisfaction.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Rulourtha's son to You. Lord, we ask that You will keep him safe and secure in the facilities and sober living environments for as long as it takes for him to find complete healing and restoration. We pray that You will surround him with Godly therapists, mentors, sponsors, and friends who will support him and guide him towards a life of sobriety and mental well-being. May Psalm 34:18 be manifested in his life, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Lord, we ask that Your loving kindness covers him this Christmas season.
We pray that her son will draw closer to Jesus Christ, asking Him to fill his emptiness and heal his pain. May he find true peace and joy in a personal relationship with Christ. We pray that the Bible he receives will speak to his heart and reveal to him the love and salvation found only in Jesus Christ.
Father, we also pray for reconciliation between Rulourtha and her son. We ask that You will soften his heart and open his eyes to see his mother for who she truly is. Heal their broken relationship and rekindle the love and understanding between them. May they forgive each other for any misunderstandings and find solace in each other's love. "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Matthew 6:14-15. Other's prayer in Acts 4:29-30, should be our prayer for him. "Now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness, by stretching out your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy Servant Jesus." Christ is the answer. Rev 3:20 "Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man hears my voice and opens the door I will come in and sup with him and he with Me." If he gives his life to God through Jesus Christ, there is hope." Only through Christ.
We stand against any spirit of addiction, mental anguish, or division in their family in the name of Jesus Christ. We proclaim healing, wholeness, and unity over them, trusting in Your power to bring these things to pass, Lord.
All of their prayers to God are heard through Jesus Christ. IJN.
