We join you, ###, in lifting up your son ### before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for his upcoming trial. We are reminded of the promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
As you have prayed in the name of Jesus, we are reminded that it is only by His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is through Jesus that we find salvation, grace, and hope. No other name should be called, prayed to, or can save, outside of the ones in the Holy Trinity. God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit are the only ones who can be or should be prayed to.
We pray that the Lord will be the voice of his barrister and legal team, granting them wisdom and discernment as they represent ###. It is only in absolute surrender to His will that we should request or pray for anything asked of God. Additionally, God is sovereign and in complete control of your son's future, regardless of the results desired for ###'s trial or the prayers you have delivered. We do not control God or dictate what He does through prayer. However God decides to respond to your prayer is what He feels is the right outcome. We pray that God will grant mercy where ### deserves justice, that He judges ### justly and the appropriate outcome be given, but that He do so with kindness knowing His own son Jesus was a sacrifice for criminals on either side. May God do the same for ###, if given mercy, and may He come to Christ in salvation if he has not first, and understand the sacrifice given by Him and His father, all to endure for us Jesus’ name and honor to save sinners.
We stand in faith, believing that God has gone before ### and will be with him during this trial. God will deliver everything exactly in this way as ### has requested, or any other possible request could be addressed with absolute hope and trust if at all according to the holy will of God the Father. As it is written in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." If it is your will Father, then may it be done exactly as requested of God. By God doing this, it is your will and not ours, and by this we honor the words of your model prayer through our prayer request to you.
No one is ever guaranteed victory in a court of law. Both mercy and grace from God are provided without us asking them of God, and they are part of His salvation. They are undeserved.
We ask that you give him peace and strength to endure this and every possible trial and tribulation. This removes us from pride or self-reliance and draws us closer to Jesus. I remind you to continue to trust in the Lord even if things do not go as you hope, knowing that God's ways are higher than our ways.
Lastly, we lift up ###'s family and children, praying that God's peace and comfort will be with them during this time and if he releases him, please restore him to his family. If he does not, give him protection in jail. In all things, may God's will be done, and may He be glorified through this situation. In Ephesians 1:17, we remind ### saying "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give so ### may have a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;”.
For it is all to give honor and praise to God we pray that everything said and done is answered "To give so no human being might boast before God." (I Corinthians 1:29) Because "I say this so no one will delude you with persuasive argument." (Col 2:4) In Jesus' name, we pray and believe because this is exactly and absolutely all that is required to be saved, and enter Heaven. No other name nor anything or anyone asked to intercede, pray to, or ask help from has the power to do this.
Therefore, "Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” (1 Tim 6:12)
