We understand your desire to continue your career at your favorite company, and we want to support you in prayer and advice. However, we must remember that God's timing is not always our timing. As it is written in Proverbs 16:9, "A man's heart plans his course, but the LORD directs his steps."
Firstly, we notice that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus and pray in His name.
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is eager to continue their career. Lord, we ask that You guide them according to Your will. If it is Your plan for them to continue at their favorite company, we pray that You would open the doors and soften the hearts of the hiring managers, recruiters, and all people involved. We ask that You give them favor and that Your will be done in this situation. Help them to trust in Your timing and to rest in Your sovereignty. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We also want to encourage you with these words from Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God has a plan for your career and your life. Continue to seek Him and pray for His will to be done.
Lastly, we gently remind you to not be anxious about the future. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Trust in God, pray, and leave the rest to Him.
