Continue to pray for softening Todd's heart and drop the divorce case

Dear Heavenly Father, I know you love us, your daughter got more and more hurt and pain because of this man I married. Father, you know he's mistreating me, he called me FRAUDULENT when today he sent me back our wedding dolls and the 2 house keys I gave him. He's rushing me to sign the annulment and threatens me he will go after my assets if I don't sign it. (According to my lawyer, he can't have any of my assets). I'm not going to sign the annulment and will still be patient to see what God will work on our marriage. God, you know I love this man very much, please remove my pain when he continues to hurt me. I just want to be a good wife and good daughter of you to follow the Bible. I obey you Lord. I pray for Todd to obey you too. I pray for his pastor, his mom, sis and friends who should only give godly marriage advice but not to listen to Todd's gossiping and accusing me. Lord, since the divorce is so painful, I want to quit my high paid amazing job in NJ to move to NC as a healing. Please guide me and let me know Your will. I want to serve you. You said if a husband mistreats his wife, his prayers will be hindered. Please let Todd know this meaning clearly. When I was there for thanksgiving and went there again last week, we were wonderful and sweet. He said he would drop the divorce case. Today, I asked his lawyer to extend the annulment until Jan 27, 2025. He rejected it. So, I've to hire a lawyer to handle this case and it will cost me 6,500. How can a husband treats an innocent wife like this? Lord, please give us dreams / visions for Your will? Please tell him you hate divorce but not to use any excuses to adjust or twist Your words. Lord, please tell me that why everytime when I pray for this marriage, it turns out the opposite??? I bind satan to attack our marriage. I ask God to protect our marriage. Thanks for giving me patience when I almost wanted to give up. He is selling his house and looking for a job. I wonder if mistreating his wife will hinder his prayers??? He has no income right now but he spent 5000 to divorce me. He borrowed money from his mom to do that. Father, please let me know if he has another woman? I pray for him to go back to You and his wife (me). I don't know why after we both talked to Pastor Gary, he became extremely bitter. Once Pastor Gary said if he doesn't trust me, he started to say I've many red flags and he doesn't trust me. All of my bro and sis in Christ said I'm not the person who is not trustworthy. I'm not the person to cheat. I'm very faithful to him and God. God, please show him the truth and not let satan to blind him. In Jesus Name Amen

We are truly saddened to hear about the trials you are facing in your marriage, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance.

Firstly, we commend you for your faithfulness and commitment to your marriage, as well as your desire to follow biblical principles. It is clear that you are enduring much pain and hardship, but you are showing incredible patience and longsuffering, which are fruits of the Spirit.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is enduring such heartache and trial in her marriage. Lord, You know the pain she is experiencing, and You see every tear she cries. We pray for Your comfort and peace to envelop her heart and mind.

Father, we pray for Todd. We ask that You soften his heart and convict him of the mistreatment he is inflicting upon his wife. Lord, You have said in Your Word that husbands are to love their wives as Christ loves the church, and that they are to dwell with their wives with understanding, giving honor to the wife (Ephesians 5:25, 1 Peter 3:7 WEB). We pray that Todd would be brought to repentance and that he would seek to honor and love his wife as You have commanded.

Lord, we also pray for Todd's pastor, mother, sister, and friends. We ask that You would give them godly wisdom and discernment, and that they would speak truth into Todd's life and encourage him to pursue reconciliation and godly behavior in his marriage.

Father, we pray for Your will to be done in this situation. We ask that You would guide our sister in Christ and make Your paths straight for her. Lord, if it is Your will, soften Todd's heart and bring about a miraculous restoration in this marriage. But above all, Lord, we pray for Your glory to be revealed and for Your name to be hallowed.

We also pray for protection around this marriage, rebuking any attacks of satan on this family.

Now, let us address some biblical principles and encouragements for you.

Firstly, it is important to remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB). However, He also hates the mistreatment and abuse that you are enduring. It is right to seek godly counsel and support during this time, both from fellow believers and from professionals such as your lawyer.

In regards to Todd's mistreatment of you, consider the words of the Apostle Peter:

like manner, husbands, dwell with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered. 1 Peter 3:7 WEB

And also the words of the Apostle Paul:

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; Ephesians 5:25 WEB

Todd's behavior is not in line with these commands, and his prayers may indeed be hindered as a result. It is our prayer that he would repent and turn back to the Lord.

Regarding the dreams and visions you mentioned the Bible says, God speaketh once, Yea, twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, A vision of the night, When deep sleep falleth upon men, In slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, And sealeth their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, And hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, And his life from perishing by the sword. Job 33:14-18 WEB

Regarding his possible communication with other women, the Bible says,

Furthermore, you shall not take a woman as a rival wife to her sister, to uncover her nakedness, while her sister is yet alive. Leviticus 18:18 WEB

Finally, we want to encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and to rest in His sovereignty. Remember the words of the Psalmist:

Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun. Psalm 37:4-6 WEB

Keep crying out to the Lord, and trust that He hears your prayers. He is faithful, and He is with you in this trial.

As a reminder, it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. No other name allows us to talk to God or be saved. Believing in Jesus Christ and His work, death, and resurrection is the only way to be saved. And ye shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be delivered Joel 2:32 WEB For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Tim 2:5 WEB.

Keep praying and trusting in the Lord. He is faithful. Expect that in this trial that when you draw near to God that He will draw near to you. James 4:8 WEB.
