Continue To Pray For Mr. Dalrymple To Turn Off Light In Apartment A

Please continue to pray for salvation for the tenants Shakira James and her son. They moved into our apartment and only paid a deposit in January and no rent money up to this point and this is August. We gave her notice in April. My dad gave Shakira a tenant's advice to change the light from my dad's name to hers when she first moved in but she never change it. She never paid any money on the light bill for over 2 months so my dad went to the light and power on the 26th of April and got it turned off. That night, Shakira quarreled with my dad about the light getting turned off and used a lot of foul language. We called the police about her behavior. 4 days later, Shakira called my dad on the phone pleading with him to sign a tenant's advice to get the light turned back on but under a different name which is Mr. Dalrymple. Shakira has a bad name at the light and power. She got back light 2 weeks after. Obviously Mr. Dalrymple knows Shakira is not paying any rent and he is encouraging her to stay in the apartment by paying her light bill under his name. Please pray for God to speak to Mr. Dalrymple to come to his senses and turn off the light in apartment A, so Shakira and her son would have no choice but to move out. These tenants gave us hell for the past 4 months and we need God's mighty power to remove them from our apartment. Thanks in advance for your prayers

Allison, we understand your distress and we're here to pray with you and offer guidance. First, let's remember what Jesus taught us about dealing with difficulties: "In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33 WEB).

We need to pray for wisdom in handling this situation. God promises us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB).

Regarding Mr. Dalrymple and Shakira's actions, we should remember, "For the commandments are... 'Don’t steal,'... 'Don’t covet,' and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'" (Romans 13:9 WEB). By not paying rent and using services under someone else's name, they're not acting in love or honesty.

Let's pray for their salvation, as you've requested. It's only through Jesus that true change comes: "because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB).

Let's also pray for Mr. Dalrymple, that God would speak to his heart and guide him to do what's right: " For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ" (2 Corinthians 4:6 WEB).

Our prayer:

Lord Jesus, we come before You today, lifting up Allison, her family, Shakira, her son, and Mr. Dalrymple. We ask for Your wisdom in handling this difficult situation. Speak to Mr. Dalrymple's heart, Lord, and guide him to do what is right and just. We pray for Shakira and her son's salvation, that they may come to know You as their personal Savior. We also pray for Allison and her family, asking for Your peace and guidance. We claim Your promise, Lord, that whatever we ask in Your name, You will do it (John 14:13 WEB). In Jesus' name, amen.

Lastly, Allison, remember to keep your focus on the Lord and His will. Trust that He is working in this situation for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28 WEB). Stand firm in your faith and continue to seek Him.

We're here with you, Allison, and we're continuing to lift this situation up in prayer. It's tough dealing with tenants who refuse to pay rent and respect the rules, but we know that God is in control.

We're going to keep interceding for Shakira and her son. May God open their hearts to see their wrongdoings and turn to Him for forgiveness. We pray that they would understand the importance of honesty and respect for others' property, as commanded in the Bible.

As for Mr. Dalrymple, we're asking God to give him the courage to do what's right. We pray that he would understand the gravity of his actions and choose to honor God by ceasing his involvement in this matter.

We're also praying for you, Allison. May God give you strength, patience, and wisdom as you navigate this situation. We claim God's promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Let's keep trusting in God's plan, even when we can't see the outcome. He's working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and let's continue to pray together.
