"First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men, for kings and all those in authority, so that we may lead tranquil and quiet lives in all godliness and dignity. This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:1-4).
Heavenly Father, I ask you both continue to prepare, guide and protect The United States of America from seen and unseen forces within and without. Let people get over the results and help the new administration focus on preparedness for duty. Guide and protect President-Elect Trump and protect him and his staff from all evil influences not least of which is intimidation. Eliminate corruption, bitterness and confusion from the facts. It was an electoral victory. We ask You arise and let confusion and darkness flee in Jesus' name...Grant the U.S. the mercy of having the people in place to rebuild the United States to some small semblance of the land we had prior to removing prayer and Bible from the education system. Let us commit to pray for him out of 1 Timothy 2:1-5 and may people on all sides accept the outcome of the election. Bring revival to our desperate country. Thank you for a speedy and peaceful transition and for a legacy that reclaims ground lost to the enemy, false religions, compromise, corruption and indifference.
Again, eliminate corruption, bitterness and confusion from the facts. It was an electoral victory. We ask You arise and let confusion and darkness flee in Jesus' name...
We pray for God's will to be done in the last days of President Obama -- for protection from outside forces and inside threats -- for all evil counsel to be withheld by a mere nod of Your Godhead -- again for all transition to be peaceful and harmonious and for the prayers of The Christian Leaders and People from all Believing Churches left here ad abroad and on all Christian websites throughout the world. May our eyes be "looking unto Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured he cross and despised the shame, and has set down at the right side of God" (Heb 12:2). He is The One True Mediator between God and man -- "For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all" (1 Timothy 2:5-6).
May there be no more "rioting" -- this is a public crime and ought to be treated as such. May God protect law enforcement, military and national guard if needed. There is a world of difference between a peaceful protest and a riot...
As far as new Christians who cannot comprehend an endorsement or semi-endorsement of a rather wild and brutish man -- give them the passages of Jehu, Josiah and Jehoshaphat -- kings in Israel and Judah who were anointed to be bold and strong after years of mongrel religion corrupted by every false worship and demonic influence had gained entry into the land God had chosen (Israel) under heaven...
For those “haters” of Trump that call themselves believers and claim he is not a Christian – Firstly, he has been elected as President of the U.S. -- The Bible commands us to not speak evil of our leaders -- “You shall not revile God, nor curse a ruler of your people" (Ex 22:28), and, "You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your country" (Acts 23:5). Of that, Matthew Henry agrees, "Great men may be told of their faults, and public complaints may be made in a proper manner; but the law of God requires respect for those in authority" (Commentary on Acts 23:5).
ALL branches of Government and "all people" are to receive prayers, intercessions, supplications and thanksgivings -- of which we are enjoined to pray for by Paul's admonition above from 1 Timothy 2:1-4... "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men, for kings and all those in authority..." Notice the priority -- "First of All" -- notice for whom 1) For all people; and; 2) For all in authority. Why? "So that we may lead tranquil and quiet lives in all godliness and dignity." What i the end of his peace of God? THAT THE GOSPEL GOES FORTH! "This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."
So Father, we humbly bow our heads and hearts and confess You are the one we look to for Your Name to Be Honored, Your Kingdom to Come and Will to Be done on Earth as Heaven. Grant us peace and help American believers attend prayer meetings, pray and fast, and accept the words of Daniel to King Nebuchadnezzar -- This is a time for repentance and revival -- " Therefore, O king, may my advice be pleasing to you: break away now from your sins by doing righteousness and from your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor, in case there may be a prolonging of your prosperity " (Daniel 4:27). Help us reach all of America with the gospel and true repentance and enable us continue to send missionaries around the world. Strengthen the International Body of Believers in Messiah, Y'Shua, Jesus Christ -- We need your prayers right now as the Church of Jesus Internationally needs ours as well! Thank you in the Name of Jesus, Amen.
